I’ve been a loyal customer of this establishment for many years, even when it was known as Pilsener Haus. I particularly enjoy the service of our server, (Marcos). He consistently enhances our dining experience with his warm and friendly demeanor. He also takes the time to recommend the best dishes on the menu, considering the current season. He’s a gem!!

An amazing place to stop by for a few beers and great pub food! Had some of their German drafts along with dill pickles and some Mac and cheese bites. Lots of space and an open area for people to talk and watch the games.
They have a great happy hour menu as well from Tuesday-Thursday!

HOBOKEN: The Hoboken Biergarten is the perfect blend of beer garden and restaurant vibes with a dog-friendly outdoor patio that we absolutely loved!
The atmosphere is awesome: string lights overhead, brick walls, greenery all around, and long communal tables that work for any size group. Leashed pups are welcome on the patio, and the staff made Brie feel right at home with a water bowl as soon as we sat down.
Scan the QR code to view the menu and a friendly server will take your order and bring everything right to you. The menu has a great mix of American and German favorites, plus an impressive drink selection featuring beers, cocktails, mocktails, wine, and even non-alcoholic brews. We could not resist the warm Bavarian pretzel, and Brie’s mom was especially excited to sip her favorite Weihenstephaner Hefeweissebier beer.

I’ve been going here frequently after indoor climbing. We went here during peak hours on a Friday night during the Knicks versus Pacers game Eastern Conference, just to give context how packed it was. They have a pretty good beer selection and you could do mobile orders with their QR code they place at the tables. But it’s usually better to order with a server because sometimes they’ll let you know about deals that’s not on the site. We ordered the New York Knicks platter and to be honest it was a bit lacking. Chicken tenders felt dry and needed to have sauce just to make sure that I could eat it. The wings were also okay. What was good about that platter was the onion rings. The batter for it was pretty delicious. However, if you do go here, I would definitely recommend the pork kielbasa. I’m glad they kept that after they renamed the bar. We’ll update more once I try new stuff there.

I love the new menu here and their reverse happy hour which has $7 beers/cocktails and $7 bratwurst handhelds. The outdoor patio is great and fills up at lunch time and later in the evenings. They also do a new dog friendly patio on Thursdays after work which is fun! The handhelds are also so filling and consistently good too. Great spot for large groups as the tables are long.

It offers a spacious setting with ample seating, making it a comfortable spot for groups or those who appreciate room to spread out. They boast a nice selection of drinks and good food, ensuring there’s something to satisfy most palates. The only notable drawback during my visit was the warm temperature inside due to a non-functioning fan. However, if that issue is resolved, it’s a solid choice for a night out.

Great place for German bier and food. I enjoyed a tasty veal schnitzel and it paired well with a Ramstein Oktoberfest brew. Quiet for a Monday night, but enjoyable. Staff were friendly and professional. Definitely worth a return visit.
Their brownie was delicious as well.

It was great to return to this place after so many years. I used to visit them frequently when I lived in the area and today I had the opportunity to stop by and I was surprised to find out that it has a different name and different ownership but the standards are still the same with the food and especially with the service. I hope to see you again soon.

Could still be a cool place to go, especially with a group of friends, but it’s a shame they took a once great and authentic Biergarten and essentially turned it into just another sports bar but with Biergarten tables. Prices are entirely too high (beers average at $12 for a half liter or good bottle). Also strange that they have no changing tables despite seemingly being child friendly. I’ll continue to visit but can’t help but wish we could go back to the good ole days here.
