The Hoagie Shop is a legendary restaurant that has been around for over 50 years! We are now located in the Mossy Creek Historical District at the heart of Downtown Jefferson City, Tennessee. We serve a wide variety of sandwiches/hoagies, wings, salads, burgers, hot dogs, and top-notch sides. We also offer a great selection of ice cream and handspun milkshakes in our creamery. Our goal at The Hoagie Shop is to build and support our community over food.

I have frequented this restaurant for over 20 years following them to each of their different locations. Their current location is in historical downtown Jefferson City which is a perfect fit for them. The subs are excellent whether hot or cold. I love the Yankee sub heated, the heat enhances the flavor of the delicious oil and vinegar mox on this sub. The Eagle burger is also an infamous item!! Don’t miss out on this small-town gem!!

My husband is from Tennessee and has been bragging about this place and now I know why. Best Ruben I’ve ever had. His cheese steak sandwich was amazing as well. And the loaded fries were delicious.

First time eating the food from here. Honestly, the wife and I both was very disappointed. Almost 60 bucks for 2 subs that was small and barely any meat, a plain burger with ketchup for the daughter and small fry for her and 2 orders of onion rings. Sadly the best part of our meal was the onion rings. Me personally, I’ve had better food at a gas station! Never will be back.

I have been eating at this place since I was kid. This is the first time at the new location. It is so clean and nice! The prices have not changed since the move. Their sweet tea is a must. My husband got the Canadian Mountie! I think is one of the best sandwiches they have. We also shared the seasoned fries. The fries was large enough to share. They have several different options for bread. I just got the cold ham sandwich on wheat.

Went to the Hoagie Shop in Mossy Creek. Both outside and inside were clean and tidy.
The young girl that took my order was not sure how I wanted my special order so they made it a little different this time. I basically wanted a hook and ladder like firehouse. So she ordered me a turkey and ham footlong on dark bread and added an EXTRA meat the roast beef. Also had triple mustard, lettuce, onion and maters.
The gentleman whom made it brought it to me to be sure it was correct and it was spot on !!!!!
Now that hoagie was the best ever , I ever eat !!!! Adding the extra meat option made it super meaty and super tasty!!!!

My husband and I went for a little date night out; which happens very little. They had a great band playing a little gospel and oldies music. The food was amazing! My husband and I got the hoagie sub and wings, which are the best wings I’ve had in awhile. Afterwards we grabbed some ice cream, good selection of flavors. My fav was the Carmel shake. Family friendly environment with the best service experience I’ve seen in a long time. It’s all about the service and experience. This is a top notch place to take family, friends and colleagues. We will be going back! Thank you for making our date night out so fun and special.

Stopped in for a late supper for the first time and was definitely glad I did.
Ordered 2 Italians and was very pleased with them. Now I will say they are not the traditional “Italian” subs as they only put salami on their’s, but it was very fresh and tasty.
Service was friendly and fast.
Price was $14 for 2 subs which is not bad at all.
Will definitely be back.
