I drove out to Yuma Az, from Peoria Az and decided to stop by a town called Wellton Az.
I used to live out here years ago.
So I stopped by The Hive; atmosphere felt nice and inviting.
I had the Ribeye steak dinner and my friend had the pizza.
I love eating great food; this place was exceptional.
Food was sooo good.
I love supporting mom and pop restaurants.
The price blew me away…
The bill was so low I was very surprised…

Ordered a patty melt and a the burger with chili’s and jack cheese both with onion rings they were beer battered very tasty my burger was kind of dry not much sauce , the coke tasted like the syrup was turned down or watered down, the burgers were single patty $55.90 after a 15% tip think the watered down cokes were $4.50 each $18.00 each on the burgers $1 upcharge for onion rings. Being a yuma restaurant guide i think they we’re way over priced for the food we got. But on the up side there’s lots of seating available

Stopped for breakfast on a road trip from Phoenix to San Diego. We had a great breakfast which included light and fluffy pancakes, yummy hash browns, eggs, bacon and sausage. Coffee was good too! I don’t often take time to review places but had to do one for this place! They deserved it!

Wonderful to find a little out of the way place that’s absolutely great. Chanced upon The Hive driving from San Diego to Phoenix. Small, unpretentious family run restaurant serving wonderful, reasonably priced dishes including the best fried chicken that I’ve had in a long while. Wonderful breakfast today

We went here a while back and ordered a Club sandwich to split. When they brought it out, they served the mayonnaise on the side. We asked if they could put the mayo on the sandwich, but they refused. We had to dismantle all four portions and put the mayo on ourselves. Never seen any restaurant do this. I called today and asked if they had started putting mayo on the Clubs, and was told no. Clubs are our favorite sandwich. We won’t be going back.

You had me a shoe string fries! We stopped here for a quick bite when our other plan was closed. Clean and had good food. No complaints and left with a full belly. I had the BLT and my husband had the Club. Both were substantial sandwiches that we could have split. The bread was fresh and easy to bite. Bacon was cooked just right and was a good portion size for the size of the sandwich. Overall a very good meal.

Great service, awesome breakfast burrito! Wasn’t crazy about the pizza sauce but it is a good spot for swinging by if you’re traveling through.
