I came here after a recommendation from a friend. The place was very clean and vibrant and felt very lively with their aesthetics that felt almost old timey. Not to mention their wall of cakes in display
Their service was very helpful and friendly, adding in to the welcoming vibe. I had ordered myself an Iced snickerdoodle latte and a croissant which was baked fresh out of the oven. And honestly it was the best pastry I’ve had in the area.
They also have a much large indoor dining area next door for brunch which I thought was sweet. So if you ever are looking for a coffee break of a time out in the day. This a good stop to come by!

Great quick service. They have a patio. The sandwiches are really good and the dips were fun. The guy taking orders was fun. The atmosphere is very small town feel which was great. They don’t have a ton of seating so get there early.

Simple and clean. Staff was really nice and accommodating with recommendations. Quiet atmosphere to do work at. Cute shops and restaurants that are all walkable from there. I was able to do a casual walk around before leaving.

The hive is such a cute little lunch spot. If I lived in Arlington I’d probably come back and try the whole menu. My only complaint is the sandwich being pretty small, it’s basically half a sandwich. Otherwise a little more inside them would be great too. Everything was delicious though.

I’ve eaten here 4 times within the last year. The first two times were great. The third everything was so burnt up I had to remake the sandwich myself at home. This time I’ve added a photo and won’t be back unfortunately. 1 half of a slice of tomato, a minimum amount of withered lettuce and less meat then ever before but at least it wasn’t burned this time. I just don’t think it is worth the price. You get chips and a sandwich starting at $12 bucks going up to $16. It would be great if they gave you the amount of food you paid for and you could be sure to tests great every time.

We’ve eaten at The Hive several times and found most sandwiches decent, though the thin bread often falls apart and chip portions are minimal. The dining area lacks ventilation, so you leave smelling of smoke, a problem that’s persisted for years. Expect to pay about $20 per person for a sandwich and drink. Customer service is lacking, yet tipping is still encouraged.

The panini’s are divine. Loved every inch of my sandwich! Service is excellent, I was escorted to my vehicle with the lunch order I picked up! Highly recommend The Hive and SugarBees 🙂

Blue cheese Cesar salad was okay. Bacon on BLAT was not cooked and sandwich was very greasy. They remade the sandwich but it was still very greasy.

First time there & was excited. I’m obsessed with chicken salad, but there’s was pretty tasteless & an incredibly small portion. I was very disappointed & really felt cheated. My friend’s sandwich had very little meat on it sooo probably won’t try again.
