Our family favorite. Seen this place from 30 years ago and every year since. The menu is basic American fare . Food is good, hours are wonky but we don’t complain, ambiance is on the most beautiful place with fast efficient service.

I remember as a kid the game room and bar that stuck out taking up the entire restaurant. Then our distant cousin bought it, reconstructed the inside and began selling pizza but closed then after and sold to someone who named it “the Tin plate” (didn’t last long at all lol..) and now the current owners – which is a perfect fit. Always top tier service, so SO glad to see this place serve its intended purpose exactly how it’s supposed to be

Family owned restaurant.
Food came out fast.
Delicious burgers with chips and cheese curds. The burger was cooked perfectly to my liking. The Moscow mules were made well.
Nice welcome wagon…friendly dog. Great family friendly value. We’re definitely coming back!

Charming little restaurant/bar with lots of atmosphere. Service was a bit slow but very friendly. Food is superior to what you typically get in door county. Sandwiches and were generally excellent!

Dog friendly. Owners dogs super nice. Chill great atmosphere. Nice bar inside. Highly recommend. Had the Cuban was really good and an old fashion! We had our dog and she roamed freely but is well behaved. 🙂

Went in with my sister and mom the other day after hiking near the White Fish Dunes. Was looking for a place close by before breaking from my sister back home to Milwaukee. Hands down, the BEST fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Juicy, flavorful breading, huge portion of meat, and tasty pickles. It was perfection.

NOT WORTH IT. Went with my partner today (Friday) and we were sat without menus, waited 10 minutes before we got menus and another 15 minutes before our order was taken. Waited an hour and a half for our food. We were barely checked on. They only had a select few items on the menu and most people were ordering fish. Worst dining experience I have ever had, not to mention very overpriced for what it was. 10+ for small drinks and 23 dollars for a plate of perch with potato salad (that came out an hour and a half after we ordered). Again, not worth it.

I enjoyed a tuna melt which they were happy to modify adding olives to the dish. There was a gluten free option, cauliflower bread. It was phenomenal as well as the espresso martini
