Stayed the night in Limon and saw Hipstir on our way in. Was quite excited to stop by in the morning for coffee and breakfast! We were able to create our own omelet which was terrific! Both dishes were wonderful and the lattes were perfect! Highly recommend

Great little bakery and sandwich place. Stopped here on the way from Colorado springs to the grandparents in western Kansas. Had great reviews. At about 1pm we got two of the last donuts – oh my the glazed and chocolate were finger licking good! Turkey sandwiches were made with homemade bread and so yummy. Got an Arnold Palmer that was tasty, and a cookie and chips comes with each sandwich! The prices are decent for the quality. The owner had his two young boys working there and they were excellent at service – very professional! They cook it in a food truck but there’s also a little restaurant next to the truck with seating, cute old timey decor, kids puzzles and books, and a bathroom. Def recommend this place! Stop here.

The breakfast burrito was delicious! I can’t have dairy, so their fresh made food and knowledge of allergies set my mind at ease. Great place to stop when passing by on I-70!

I was SO excited to come here. We were passing through and I read the prior reviews and knew this place was gonna be awesome! I read that the place opened at 0545 and we were gonna be passing by around 0600 so the timing was perfect! Unfortunately we rolled up right around 0600 to see the food trailer being pulled out. I remained hopeful and we asked if they were open yet and they said just a few mins. About 10 mins later we were told they were ready. It was now around 0610. My son son asked the what donuts they had and we were told they didn’t have any donuts yet. We were both so disappointed. I couldn’t believe this place would open and not have actually made any of the food on the menu. I noticed a few scones from the day before in the display case so I bought one of those and ordered two coffees and a hot chocolate for my kiddo. It took about 5 more minutes for the coffee. When it was handed to me I suspected it was an Americano (espresso and hot water) instead of brewed coffee like we ordered. I asked if it was a an Americano and he confirmed it was. In their defense it was really good but not what I ordered. Woulda been nice to be told this when I ordered. Any saving grace here was that my son loved the hot chocolate. I REALLY wanted to like this place and wish I had the same experience everyone else had but left extremely disappointed. We went down to Lamar afterwards and went to an old school donut shop which was a much better experience. I’m sure this place has great food, but I’m still flabbergasted they hadn’t made any actual donuts by 0620 when they advertise being open at 0545. This delay set the rest of our drive home 20 minutes behind schedule. Maybe I’ll try it again the next time we drive through, but it will be much later in the day next time.
