This was our first time visiting and truly do not know why we have not tried this place before. It’s the cutest little place right in Mint Hill. You seat yourself and our waitress came over immediately and she was super friendly and kind.
We ordered the chicken wings for an appetizer because on Tuesdays they are $1.00 a wing, so we ordered 10 wings to share. They were delicious. It did come with one blue cheese side and she asked my hubby if he wanted it as well. He says yes, but noticed on the bill that we were charged for the extra blue cheese, that was slightly off putting.
We both ordered burgers which were amazing. I got cheese fries with mine but it’s not creamy melted cheese, it was regular cheese just melted on it. They was good, but disappointed about the cheese fries.
They do give VA discounts if you show proof so we received a discount. Any place that offers this is our kind of place.
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is strictly because they charged us for the extra side of blue cheese. We were sharing the wings, so everyone should have their own little cup.
We’ll be back to try some other items from this restaurant.

I recently visited this restaurant, and the experience was great! The staff was very friendly, and our food came out hot and in a timely manner. I had the BLT, and my husband ordered the chicken quesadilla, both were delicious. The fried pickles were just okay, but overall, we were very pleased. I’d definitely go back and highly recommend this place to others.

Great small town restaurant/bar with good food and friendly staff. Was my first time here and was immediately greeted by smiling faces. I ordered the royal BLT with onion petals as my side. It was delish, but definitely could stand to have more bacon to balance out all the toppings but in any case I enjoyed it very much. Sweet tea was sweetened just right. Not bland and not too sugary. I’d definitely come back here again and maybe try a drink from the bar.

First visit here. Not very busy, unfortunately for someone running a business. Wings were good as was ranch dipping sauce. My kids enjoyed their chicken tenders. My son didn’t like the sweet potato tots; which my wife and I enjoyed. The Philly cheese steak was good. I was disappointed with the reuben. It had the least amount of meat I’ve ever had on a reuben; at least 60% less than I expected for the price. So , the reuben will not be ordered again. Everything else, including service was efficient. The hostess that sat us didn’t give us 4 sets of silverware but only 2. Did she think my 10yr and 16 yr old can’t use a fork?

What a fantastic surprise The Hill Bar and Grill turned out to be! I popped in without huge expectations, but the food seriously blew me away – everything was incredibly flavorful and well-prepared. As a Coors Banquet fan, I was thrilled to see it available. Beyond the great food and drinks, the atmosphere is just perfect; it’s got those laid-back, comfortable vibes you look for. Can’t wait to go back!

We were in the area for a house warming party and wanted to get dinner nearby. It was our first time in the Mint Hill area. This place was a gem! All the staff, owner included, were so nice and welcoming! Food was good and the place is also kid friendly.
It felt like a small town bar and grill, which’s hard to find in the greater Charlotte area!

Fantastic sandwiches! The Hill Bar and Grill in Mint Hill
The BEST wings in my opinion – size, texture (juicy!) and flavor though the dry rub was very mild. I prefer the mild Buffalo flavor. Much much better than Hawthornes in Mint Hill.
Reuben was very good but bread a teeny tiny bit soggy on one side (I like really crisp bread), great amount of corned beef. Loved the flavors.
The home made chips are awesome! Not salty but the ketchup was a perfect foil so just right for us. Definitely recommend these!
Fried pickles were good, though cornmeal is not really my personal favorite, they were fresh and good texture.
Love the ranch and blue cheese dressings.
Excellent burger! We will absolutely be back for burgers and wings on a regular basis and want to try the Cuban next time too.
Place was hopping, excellent service, you could tell it was a local favorite by the clientele – wonderful local space with great home cooked food.

The service was great. The kitchen got my husband’s burger order wrong and smothered it in onions. The drunk guy dropping the f-bomb should have been asked to leave, there were elderly women having food. Overall…mediocre at best, but we went to support them, since they are supporting the Brooks family during the trial.

The atmosphere is relaxed. The decor is sports bar meets watering hole meets friends basement. Mint Hills local “Cheers” Nicole has been our waitress both times and she’s AWESOME!! Always smiling and friendly (grown folks Chick-Fil-A). The food is great. Mild wings are NOT SO VERY MILD so be aware.
Went back tonight…..bologna sandwich, wings, Mahi Mahi. Homemade chips….outstanding!!!
