**This is an outdoor venue and operations are seasonal based on the weather** The High Note Rooftop Bar is situated atop the Hotel Elkhart in downtown Elkhart. Views from the top of the highest building in the downtown area provides amazing sunset views with lounge seating and firepits. Craft cocktails and lite fair available. Open seasonaly and weather permitting. Generally closed for the season from mid November-March due to colder weather. The rooftop can also be rented for private events. Call in advance to confirm open availability.

I recently visited this rooftop bar in Elkhart and was seriously impressed. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming, stylish, and just the right blend of relaxed and upscale. The view from the rooftop is absolutely stunning—especially at sunset. It offers a unique perspective of downtown Elkhart that you just can’t get anywhere else in town.

Secret bar/restaurant we recently discovered and absolutely LOVE! The food is outstanding, service impeccable and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Bonus: every Friday evening you can hear the local band(s) that play from the rooftop of the library down the block during the Summer. This evening we were treated to Motown Classics.

The High Note is a unique experience in Elkhart for 2 reasons, first it’s just about the only place in E-town to enjoy a drink with a view, at least one you’d want to see, and second it feels a bit exclusive, kind of like a secret spot only the cool kids know about, hopefully for Hotel Elkhart that may change, and it should because this is a cool, comfortable spot to escape to that’s both literally and figuratively above the fray.
The secret’s out about The High Note, great service, great view, and not too pricey so do yourself a favor and check it out.

Bar is SLOW. They had a very loud DJ and a ton of drunk and people. Not the trendy bar for professionals they are trying to seem like. It’s trash.

This isn’t a bar it’s a sitting area on the balcony of the top floor. Apparently you order your drinks from the Corner Bar on the first floor and take your drinks up in the elevator if you want. But there’s no service up there. Definitely disappointed.
