In my 34 years I have never stepped foot into the building. I went geek mode from the door, everything retro i grew up with. Very relaxing atmosphere, great staff. And if cream soda isnt available for the butterbeer – go dr pepper. Its amazing.

Love this place so much we went two nights in a row!
We had The cheese curds and scallops and wings the first night and the second night we had the loaded fries and the lemon pepper wings, burger and chicken teriyaki. All the drinks we had were great too!

I have lived in this area since 2007 and just now visited on Sunday, I knew nothing about the place nor have I heard anyone even talk about it so we took a chance just to see what it was like, I’m so glad that we did!!!
It was such an amazing atmosphere and brought back so many memories from the ’80s.
We had such a good time, drinks were reasonable plus it was happy hour till 7:00 pm.
The waitresses were very delightful and constantly had a smile.
The food was simple but the burgers were delicious, definitely a fun bar to hang out and play some games even bring in the family for a fun night. I will most definitely return!!!
Thank you for bringing this to our area!!! it’s definitely one of a kind.

Great places for food and entertainment. Food was delicious. Not a bad bite for any of us. The arcade is well priced. You get a lot of play for the money. Bought two $25 cards and 4 of us played for 45 minutes or so.

Will definitely come back again

the main bartender (i believe her name is jackie? The girl with the round glasses ) is so awesome she always remember what we get, listens to us and converses so kindly and respectfully, we come here weekly usually and we have never had a bad experience. Games are cheap and food and drinks are as well especially during happy hours, ive never been more pleased with a establishment, please keep up all the awesome work we will always keep coming back

Staff is always friendly. Awesome arcade, food is good and they have some Non Alcoholic options too. Last time I was there bartenders and owner were testing out some new drinks. You can see there some passion put into this spot. Also super casual. Gets a little exciting after 10 PM some nights even in the off season.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this Establishment. 1st, Management, It’s a “Family” owned, Locally run Business. (AND THEY CARE)…2ND, Very Clean,Excellent Food Menu for adults and a Children’s Menu. 3rd, Bartenders, Spot On, Work Hard,Excellent Service. A word of advice would be to (TIP THE BARTENDERS) As They Won’t Forget You. Excellent Atmosphere. During the day take your Family and show the little ones the video games, pinball machines you grew up with. Explain to them that the games they are playing here is just like they are today with their virtual reality games. Its a chance for all families to go down memory lane on all 1980s and early 90s pin ball machines. Night life Adults Only. Aka, You Are Going To Have A Blast. But The Best For Last, They Have Karaoke Thursday Night’s,Friday Nights And Saturday Night’s With One Of The Top Best (DJ’S) In Delaware. As Him To Do A Justin Timberlake Song..
Again, Make Sure You Take Care Of The Bartenders, As, They Will I Promise Take Care Of You.

Don’t park upfront and start to reconsider your decision on a night out while the fun is indoors

Great place for food, pool, and ofc karaoke! Weekly regular for karaoke. DJ spig1, JP, and Lovey keep the show going even on a quiet night. RJ and Erica are great at their jobs as well as the bartenders. Formed great relationships through the staff and regulars. Met some good people and I thank this place for it.

Personally I don’t drink as much as the normal 20ish year old but they have good choices like surfside lol. I always try to tip well as the bartenders take great care of me and my friends.

One of the best bars. Period

We’ve never been to The Hideout before but I went there today with my husband and two kids. Instantly was in love from the time we walked through the door, the food was surprisingly really really good, the boozy milkshakes were so fun, and I was totally tripping about all of the classic arcade and pinball games. I found my new favorite spot in delaware! Service was fantastic, everything about this place really surprised me in the best way!

I just have to say how much of an absolute pleasure this place was. I was around the area with family and was staying local, the Spider-Man statue caught our eye so we ran in later in our trip.

I myself, am 20. My parents enjoyed their drinks and I was taking in the visual eye candy of all the pop culture references hidden around the establishment. The food was fantastic, I had a burger that surprised me with its quality. The crab balls were delicious, and we shared a cheesey crab bread that surprised us in its quality taste and affordable price, which was the consensus over dinner.

The arcade section was absolutely a blast, we were sad to see the loss of the Mortal Kombat cabinet, but were quickly distracted by the dozens of fantastic cabinets and activities to partake in. Staples like Skee Ball, Basketball, and Centipede (My Mother, “Den” now proudly discussing her high rank on the game), and also the rarer cabinets people well versed in the arcade scene could appreciate; such as the Nintendo Play choice 10 in 1. My brother absolute loved the Duck game and it was great to have a low-cost game he could actually win, he’s on the autism spectrum, so rigged arcade games are hard to tell him about, but here he was the king of the duck machine.

I see above, in the bar itself (21 and over) has private TV’s for personal gaming, more cabinets, and the infamous Barbie Chair!

It seems like all around this place is just a love for Pop culture, wonderful staff (seriously they are all kind and great at their jobs.), and a general fun atmosphere.

We ate here on a Tuesday Night, so there were no festivities but the list of what was coming up seems impressive, and lively.

A hidden gem, a delightful stop, and I can’t wait to come back in a year to experience the full experience of this pristine Bar-Cade.
