Large 18 inch pizza! There was no vegetarian pizza on the menu, we ordered a “make your own” pizza with the different veggies toppings and cheese. It was delicious. The cheese bread was good, not great. It had a somewhat overbaked crust.
Service was great, they made our take-out order within 25 minutes. There are 4-5 small tables for dine-in though the place looked more for pickup orders. It had a drive through too.

Plain Truth
Hours on website said they were open on Thursday 10/16/26. Phone wasn’t working but I was in the area and drove at 6pm and this was closeup like Fort Knox. Got out to see if there was an explanation for being closed and nothing. Other patrons showed up to their surprise the place was closed. Not good for business. I stopped by yesterday and it was a 20-30 minute wait & I didn’t have time, guess I’ll scratch this place off the list. Should have been a note of some sort stating their closure for the day.

Best wings and pizza I have ever had. The cashier Christina was so sweet and polite. Nice music will waiting on the food. A few small tables to seat at or a drive thru to order and go home. A must while in Carlsbad!! Coming back to try their drinks next!

UPDATE 12/10/2025… I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and when I came to pick it up, it was hot and ready not like little Caesars hot and ready because who likes that mess anyway?… But legit hot and ready, Came back to my place and devoured a 14 inch pizza by myself. I am not a big person and I don’t eat that much but this is the absolute best pizza and Carlsbad cause I’ve eaten at all of them. So if someone is wanting a good delicious pizza, you’ve got to come here and get the Hawaiian pizza. Even if you don’t like pineapples or ham, their other pies are just great. This pizza tonight was just as good if not better than Cafe Rio Pizza in Ruidoso.

Decided to go by the Hideout today at 11:30, and they were open. The first time there, the young lady with braces answered all my questions and was very entertaining. I asked if they use a sheeter for the dough and she said no. She then said they have a press, I then asked if it was a DoughPro and she then said yes. After hearing that, I knew the crust would be perfect. I ordered the small pepperoni. When I got home it was very tasty; I did like the cheese on it. Please give the nice, polite young lady at the counter a raise.

First time visiting this cutely decorated restaurant. Delicious pizza, great choices and yummy drinks. Pizza a little more expensive but it’s 18 inches! We got the 3 merry and large specialty drinks and paid $40. Well worth what we spent. They do have specials for cheaper pricing. Very friendly staff. Go get you some!

Went to the hideout with (3) buddies and initially was annoyed they didn’t have a bathroom. It appears this is currently more of a drive-thru restaurant. Ordered food, and was pleasantly surprised by the hot honey wings. We ordered the 3-meat pizza, the boneless hot buffalo wings, the boneless honey bbq wings, a cream root beer, a blue mermaid, a Philly sandwich, and a soft pretzel. They gave us the hot honey wings instead of the bbq wings, but they were good. They were going to give us the honey bbq wings for free, but since we liked the hot honey wings, we ate them all and told them we would pay for hot honey since we ate them. My buddy who ordered the Philly sandwich said it was good, the soft pretzel was good, the 3 meat pizza was as good as any other option in Carlsbad, and the boneless wings were good. Good place that needs to make some improvements their next fiscal year – close in the overhang area and build more seating with a mini-split for heating and cooling. Make sure to have bathrooms in the next year for the customer.

Would like the pizza crust to be more consistent. Mozzarella would be a nice option. Wings are large. Please add water to your drink menu. The crust itself is amazing, I just want more on the edges. I would also like a dipping sauce of marinara or ranch.
