My husband and I came here for our birthday dinner. When you enter the external building, you have to walk down some stairs to actually enter the restaurant; matches the “hideaway” name. We made reservations and arrived on time. Overall, food was good and reasonably priced for this area.

Free chips and salsa! We ordered the corn empanadas and wagyu steak flautas for starters. My husband ordered the carnitas plate and I had the baja del mar special. The flautas were delicious, and had a lovely spicy saucy. The corn empanadas were good, but was missing a good sauce. My husbands carnitas were amazing! My baja del mar plate was fresh but felt small. Finally, we did have to pay for our birthday dessert and ordered the churros, which unfortunately, were not worth it, especially as they took about 15 minutes to arrive and were “made fresh”. They just completely lacked flavor.

I took off a star because our waitress this evening just was not friendly and not very attentive. When she was talking directly to us, she would be looking at the tables around us in her section. It just felt impersonal.

Atmosphere was what made this place. It’s a really cool vibe, with interesting decor and structure and had several private rooms and sections. Our table was in an enclave in a bigger room and a had a button on the wall that said “push for tequila”, and allegedly would result in being brought tequila shots!

Overall we would go again, but hope for better service.

Food is delicious. It is a very noisy place but lots of fun. Service was on point for how crazy busy the place was. Reservations a MUST! HUGE selection of drinks for adults! Prices are high, but that is what one should expect for the location. Had a great time.

I recommend anyone to check out this spot in Beverly Hills it has kind of a unique feel to it, I ordered the Crispy Artichoke Hearts with Lemon Aioli and the empanadas as a starter, and they were addictive, the dipping sauce was excellent as far as the entree the Wild Mushroom Risotto was creamy and perfectly seasoned, one of the best versions I’ve had in a while, the service is OK, friendly, sometimes can do better when it gets more busy during brunch The ambiance is what you hope for in Beverly Hills, warm lighting, comfortable seating, a lively yet relaxed vibe.

We returned to the restaurant as soon as we realized the pouch had been left behind, and it was handed back to us.
However, when we checked inside, several valuable items were missing, including a Diptyque perfume and Dior lip gloss.

We were the last guests of the night, and there were no other customers in the restaurant at that time.
The pouch was left on the table, and only staff remained inside.

Given these circumstances, it is very difficult to understand how this could have happened, and we have not received a satisfactory explanation from the restaurant.

To make matters worse, the man working at the bar counter was extremely unfriendly, and the way we were treated was disappointing.
The entire experience was terrible from start to finish.

This incident occurred in the heart of Beverly Hills, and as a result, we have completely lost trust in this restaurant.
Depending on how this matter is handled, we may need to consult the police.

We hope the restaurant will take this issue seriously and provide a clear and responsible explanation.

I had the pleasure of dining at Hideaway on Rodeo Drive recently, and it was a truly enjoyable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the inviting atmosphere. The décor blends modern elegance with a cozy, upscale vibe that fits perfectly in the heart of Beverly Hills.

The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. The staff made me feel welcome right away and offered great recommendations from the menu. I appreciated the little touches—like the perfectly timed check-ins and the knowledgeable answers to my questions about ingredients and spice levels.

The food was the real highlight. Every dish I tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The tacos were a standout—perfectly seasoned with just the right balance of texture and flavor. The chips and guacamole were also excellent, with the guac tasting freshly made. I only wish I had room to try more, but that just gives me a reason to come back.

Even though I’ve only been once, Hideaway left a strong impression. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy a high-quality meal, and take in the stylish surroundings. If you’re in the area and craving Mexican cuisine with a refined twist, I definitely recommend giving Hideaway a visit.

You should definitely come here. Very unique interior. The staff is super friendly. The bar is cute but the outdoor dining area is the best spot. It gets crowded so make a reservation. Love the girly, quirky, intimate tables and mismatched dishes. The food was excellent. The chips are good, the empanadas were so cute and tasty. The ceviche was good. Loved the steak and fries too. I enjoyed the atmosphere and every bite of food we had. They have outdoor heaters that kept it nice and warm. They had this cute “push for tequila” button at the tables that lights up this red bulb. So fun!
