I loved it here! My group had a blast. It was such a relaxed, cozy, and fun environment. We went on a Saturday night and we enjoyed the karaoke. There were a lot of talented, lively people performing! The bar staff were really nice, too. They were quick with our drinks and pretty knowledgeable. I definitely will return!

They do a really cool thing for the local music scene too! Open Jams on the first Thursday of every month! If you’ve not been to one, I highly recommend it! Grab some dinner downstairs, then head upstairs for drinks and live music!

The bar staff are amazing, drink options are phenomenal, and the atmosphere is cozy complete with wood floors and exposed brick walls! Friday and Saturday nights they host karaoke which is always a fun, crowded experience. I’ve never experienced anything negative here and it’s become my “regular place” when looking for a fun, relaxing night out.

A wonderful and welcoming bar for all (legal) ages. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced drink and laughs you won’t forget, Grumpy Dave’s is the bar for you. When karaoke night is going, the entire place is bustling with those who take on the challenge of getting up on stage to sing, and those who stay in the crowd but join them in song. Good or bad singer you’re supported. The staff will always keep you laughing and will always bring you quick and efficient service. A must visit place if you’re a fan of homey dive bars. It’s my favorite place in BG!

Stopped for lunch in Bowling Green. The onion rings were huge and delicious! Had a Club sandwich which was also very good. Didn’t care for the cole slaw. Maybe had just a little too much vinegar for me. I like it sweeter and not so creamy. Service was top notch and the inside had brick walls and lots of wood. Very cozy and comfortable. For 2 sandwiches with a side and tip, $25. Well worth it and right downtown. Stop by Thayer Honda and say hi to Kena. Great salesperson and the best experience I ever had at a car dealership!

I went to Grumpy Dave’s several times and I quite liked it, however I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. My friends and I were having drinks there and we experienced a bartender literally mocking a disabled patron. That is messed up in a million ways. Our group is finding a new bar to go to.

A cozy little pub that has a great beer selection. Grumpy’s has an almost speakeasy feel to the place. You enter this unmarked door, up a flight of stairs. They have a great beer selection. The service is friendly and there is usually a decent special going on. If you want to go to a place that most of the students do not go to, Grumpy’s is that place. Not to mention the big windows in the front allow you to people watch without them even knowing it.
