My husband and I had dinner at The Hide Out tonight, and it did not disappoint! I went with the smoked pork chop, mac and cheese, corn, and a side of applesauce. The pork chop was thick, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. The mac and cheese was rich and flavorful, and the applesauce paired perfectly.
My husband ordered the bacon cheeseburger with tots—cooked just right and served with mayo, lettuce, tomato, and what tasted like house-made pickles (possibly even pickled locally). He loved it, but I think he had a little food envy over my pork chop, so I shared a bite.
We’d both happily order our meals again. The food was fantastic, the service was spot-on, and we left full and happy.
Heads-up: This is a smoking-allowed establishment.

Everything about this place was great! Friendly and welcoming staff and laid back regulars. Waitress recommended the house hoagie and it did not disappoint!!! Sooooooooo good and the beer? Super ice cold!! 10 stars!!!

It was a place that allowed smoking. So if that’s your thing then add a star or 2. But it’s not my cupa tea, as they say.
While we were eating, there were people working on the pool table. They sprayed a bunch of stuff, and so it made the food taste like whatever that chemical was.
The service was good though. Our waitress came by plenty, and kept our drinks full. Quick and kind staff.

We have not been able to get down there for a while, and we really like the new vibe we felt. They got busy quickly, and everyone handled the rush as the professionals they are. The bar fair they serve is a few steps ahead of the competition.
The only issue that really is kinda important is to get a good cable subscription for all local sports teams. 5 stars

You never really go to a bar for food and have high expectations so this review wasn’t one I was expecting to give but… The Hideout is an awesome hidden gem! As someone who doesn’t smoke I’ve held off going to this place because I’m not a fan of smoke while eating. If someone was smoking inside, I wouldn’t have known as they have 3 air filters inside plus a back patio. Walking inside, you got a nice small-town vibe. Both staff and customers greeting you. Before I get to the service and food, I have to give an honorable mention to their cups! I absolutely can not stand when a restaurant or bar for that matter gives you a tiny cup so that everytime you see your server you’re asking for a refill, which would have been a lot because Michelle constantly checked in on us and was an all around Rockstar. Again, I wasn’t expecting much, but man is this the spot to go to if you are wanting all around good bar food. They hand batter their pickle chips made from locally sourced pickles as well as their chicken strips. The burger was juicy and flavorful with fresh toppings and crispy bacon and FINALLY a place that doesn’t serve under cooked tots. Definitely my new go to spot if I want good food with even better service.

I’m here from Ohio working and I’ve driven past this place too many times to count to get to my hotel. Since my job is weather dependent and got rained out today I figured I’d finally give it a try, and I wasn’t disappointed. I got carryout but that made no difference. The catfish sandwich was spot on with some of the best fried mushrooms I’ve ever had. All in all, a highly recommendable place for a fairly reasonable price. Worth the visit to anyone looking for something off the beaten path.

I really enjoyed the casual atmosphere. The Frisco burger is delicious. Onion rings were tasty.
And the service was fast and friendly. Our server, Michelle, was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable.
