This place was shared to me from a Google search looking for a good philly cheesesteak sub. My wife and I decided to try it out and woohoo. The best recommendation I have had in a while, hands down!! We, most definitely, will be visiting frequently. Everyone should stop in and give it a try!!

It’s basically a neighborhood spot, but located on (6th st/Fairmount Ave.) a main artery connecting Jamestown to Lakewood. I spent less then 10 minutes talking with the owners while they prepared my order (nice folks), and found out that they are originally from Philly ,and have been in business for 10 years . The last six in their current location and originally in the old vans Texas hots under the viaduct downtown. Since it was my first time I ordered the Philly cheese steak the way they do it in Philly, with onions and cheese wiz. They told me that they make it many different ways these days because the sandwich has evolved. They also mentioned a cheese steak called the old grandad that they came up with specifically for Jamestown. People kept asking for sauce he said ,so they came up with something. I can only speak for the original Philly cheese steak and say that It was good enough that I will be coming back to try the old grandad . Keep in mind this is a small place and while they have parking as well as seating you might wanna plan on getting it to go. With that said they also have a menu with a number of other items to try, If cheese steak isn’t your thing.

One of my most favourite foods is a Philly cheesesteak and when my partners and I were out at camp they just had to take me here. I am so glad they did!!!! We made the drive and arrived at The hidden exclusive grill and were greeted by Lisa. I told her it was my first time having an authentic cheesesteak and told her i wanted the original. Jason in the kitchen whipped us up 3 Philly’s and it was delicious!!!! Meat. Onions and the Wizz aka the cheese. In addition to the great cheesesteaks we tried the jumbo nuggets which came with dip sauce that was made in house. The chipotle sauce was fire but oh so good!!! I will definitely be back, so many items on the menu I need to try. Thank you Lisa and Jason for making my experience a great one.

The cheesesteak here is excellent. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I was just passing thru the area. However, if I’m ever up that way, I’ll make a point to stop again.

Great cheese steak sandwiches. The wrapping of the takeout sandwich makes it a little soggy. The bun could get grill/toasted longer to whole all the juices. Overall, decent sandwich. Just takeout order now during the covid. Order Through the window and pickup.

What a gem of a hidden spot! I found this place while traveling for work. First of all, the owner and staff were super friendly. They recommended the smoked mushrooms for the philly. Boy oh boy, that changed the game for me and I now regret ever having it – caz I prob. Can’t get it anywhere else from other philly cheesesteak places. So good! When the owner see that I was on a 5 hr drive route, he gave me a little extra to try: Their fried chicken strip with spicy chipotle sauce – ANOTHER GEM!! So good. Good food, friendly staff and owner. One of the best damn phillys I ever had. Highly recommend from a person who travels to Philly often and had many legendary philly cheesesteaks before.

Pleasant experience while attending with my fiancee. The lady was very kind, understanding when taking our order. When we sat down, she provided us with our food trays and asked if we needed anything else. Very polite and we couldn’t ask for a better server. The food was well made, didn’t taste like it was drowned In grease. The fries were amazing and the philly steak superb. I reccomend this place highly to all people looking for a treat for their tastebuds. The place was also clean, affordable and although small, it had room to sit down. Please try it out when you get the chance!
