I’m a trucker from Tennessee and I was wanting some Gumbo and Jambalaya so I pulled my semi on the shoulder of the road and went in. Best Gumbo and Jambalaya that I have ever had. Very Friendly people and a very clean place to eat. I will be back when I’m in the area. I will try something new and get some Gumbo and Jambalaya for the road.

Location: like having more food options on this side of town. Pretty easy to get to from the highway. Parking lot is decent.
Atmosphere: open floor, many tables. Clean. Not crowded for lunch. You walk up to the counter and order.
Service: friendly but also absent. Customers pick up their table and order at the counter. Workers simply take your order and bring you the food when it’s ready.
Food: ordered the fried fish with fries, hushpuppies & mac & cheese. Not bad but not out of this world. I did not like the mac & cheese (my favorite food)- it was kinda dry and felt reheated. Fish was crispy. Fries were OK.
Prices: I feel like most ppl would spend $10-16 depending on what you get. My fish after drink was like $14, which I’d say was too much for the quality.
Overall, just ok. Won’t be a regular spot for me.

Honestly I hate to be a Karen here because we all have our bad days but I’m kinda upset because I was looking forward to the brisket but also I paid $16 for butter noodles and cardboard basically. The brisket was literally so dry it had no flavor and the Mac & cheese literally looked like it was just covered in oil with the cheese sauce thrown into the mix. The beans and bread were good tho.

First time at this particular location. Clean & friendly service. I ordered the brisket baked potato but they were out of baked potatoes. The waitress substituted potato casserole for the potato & sliced brisket on The side with all the fixings. It was DELICIOUS The Brisket had NO FAT on it!! Which I REALLY ENJOYED!! PLUS, IT WAS THE BEST I’VE TASTED at a HICKORY SMOKE HOUSE EVER!!! THANK YOU WILL GO BACK! PLEASE KEEP IT UP !!

If you mixed Cracker Barrel with a barbecue diner, and you’d get this restaurant. My brother and I stopped by on a whim, and it was a pleasant surprise!
First off, the service was great and the place was so clean. The cashier was very helpful, and gave us all the info we needed when we asked a question about the food. And the entire restaurant from bathroom to floors was squeaky clean.
The wait time for the dine in was less than 10 minutes for 2 plates of fully cooked barbecue, so ridiculously fast.
The food itself was fantastic, and tasted just the right blend of seasoned and savory, complimented by well fried okra and french fries.
And the price of it all? Pre 2024 inflation levels of cheap. This was the best place I’ve stopped for work in a while, and I would definitely recommend. 5/5.
