The food here is really delicious! Wife and I had the usual appetizer of ahi tuna with plantain chips and it never disappoints. We changed up our usual entree to fish and chips for the wife, which she raved about and said it was the most flavorful fish and chips she’s ever had. My steak was done perfectly! Medium rare and it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The Mac & cheese was also delicious, and would be any kid’s favorite meal!

Im sure there are a bunch of you that would not even think twice about going to Shamokine, but you would be doing yourself a diservice. The Heritage restaurant has fantastic food and the duck fat french fries are an absolute must have! Their food is absolutely top notch. You can’t go wrong with anything there.

Service is outstanding, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food—simply incredible. The pork chop was juicy and full of flavor, and the corn over mashed potatoes melted in my mouth. The blackened salmon was grilled to perfection—moist and seasoned just right. The steak salad hit every note: perfectly cooked meat, fresh greens, and a spot-on dressing. Even my son couldn’t get enough of the grilled cheese and fries. And the best part? The prices are more than reasonable. I’d happily drive two hours just to eat here again. Highly recommend!

The pretzel and homemade dipping sauces are among the best I have ever had! The burger was good, their idea of medium was more like my idea of medium rare but it was still good. Absolutely beautiful inside!

My baby shower was hosted here this weekend and it was such a great experience. Everyone loved the food, specifically the chicken tenders and chips. The atmosphere was great, such a beautiful spot on the second floor with lots of natural light. The staff were super accommodating and the prices were fantastic. We had about 35 people there and it was just the right amount of space. Would highly recommend! Thank you Heritage for a great experience

The Heritage burger and fresh cut fries were delicious, service was even better. Came in to eat with friends, all 8 of us had an amazing meal. (Steak, patty melts, Nashville chicken, Mac and cheese.) Our server was informative, kind, and fun! Our drinks, including a pear elderflower martini, espresso martini and Guinness’s as well as the mocktail Shirley temple, were expertly made. We will definitely be back.

Food and service was phenomenal! Drove up from Harrisburg, steaks were very good, cream corn was amazing, got wings angry style and the tuna appetizer, everything was great! Great restaurant all around, worth the nice scenic drive for a great meal.

Nice spot to eat and drink. Stopped in for a few drinks and had the duck fat fries appetizer which was delicious. The meals looked really yummy but we weren’t hungry enough to order more than the app at the time. The servers were all super nice and friendly. Loved the atmosphere. Would definitely go back if in the area again.
