The Heritage | Authentic Filipino Restaurant in Federal Way, WA
Reviews
The restaurant was quiet, and the decor was very tasteful. The prices were very reasonable and the tables were sturdy, with at least one being a “real” hardwood table. Everything was kept clean.
We had the adobo chicken, which was fantastic. The “chicken on a stick” was also great!
We will definitely plan to visit again when in the area!
I had the pancit, chicken adobo, lumpia, and ube tres leche. The pancit was bland but palatable, but also cold, which was odd. The chicken adobo was flavorful, but again, not hot at all. The lumpia was the real star of the show. They were really tasty! The ube tres leche was good, but you couldn’t really taste the ube.
The service was friendly and inviting. I want to come back and try some of their other dishes. This feels like a promising spot.
We shared a combo plate. Two scoops of rice, one bowl of chicken adobo and one of diniguan. Pretty tasty, especially when eaten with the “natural” fork and spoon (fingers). Perfect for eaten the meat and slurping the juice. Not a lot of blood in the dinuguan, but my daughter commented that no one puts as much in as I do.
We wanted to leave room for treats. I had the cassava cake which was delicious. My daughter had halo halo and it was the most decadent and yummy she has ever tried. All kinds of tasty bits to discover.
They brought skewers of grilled meat out while we were there but we were full. Next time…
We’ll definitely go back. It wasn’t busy when we went mid afternoon on a Saturday, but it would be nice to go when there are more customers.
Plus there is a nice selection of Filipino snacks for purchase. And gallons of Datu Puti shoyu and vinegar.
Check out this little jewel in The Fed.
P.S ..But of course since it’s almost summer and it’s getting hot , I had to finish my meals with their very loaded Halo halo ❤️
The Kare kare was delicious, which surprised me because growing up at home the smell of jt cooking made me nauseous, but this one had delicious peanut broth and delectable pieces of beef.
And the Lumpia are incredible, the crunch and flavors were masarap (delicious)
Come here for authentic, warm Filipino food.
The palabok looks old and tastes old. Our members just use our microwave to reheat the palabok
A lot from our church was quite disappointed. It’s good to experience this, it will be the first and last.
