DO NOT MISS this place! Without doubt one of the best resturants you will find in Bath. With phenomenal food and brilliant staff you will not go wrong!
We first came here over a year ago during one of our first visits to Bath with friends. All of us have originated from city centres up north where great quality food is highly sought after and tend to spend weekends away across the UK frequenting various food establishments. Little did we know that this little resturant would go straight up there with our top picks. The steak sharing platter not only is great value but is cooked to perfection.
We tend to opt for medium rare alongside a red wine jus, peppercorn sauce and a great bottle of Valpolicella Red.
For dessert the Creme Brulee is highly recommended
I promise you now you will not be dissapointed, it is a gem. Whether it be groups or couples for special occasions this place will go above and beyond.
We came last night to celebrate valentines night just me and my parter for the 3rd time. Were already looking to book for our 4th visit.

Fantastic birthday celebration, lovely touch with candle at the end, went for the sharing platter and each steak was cooked perfectly, only feedback would be to extend cocktail menu and add mocktail options to drinks, but couldn’t fault the food or the ambience. Will definitely return again!

Josh and the other gentleman (sorry didnt catch the name) were so attentive we arrived and were greated and escorted to our table, our order was taken after being left to browse the menu, drinks offered. The food arrived so quickly, I recommend the halloumi my husband had the calamari, perfection Then the filet steak melt in your mouth delicious I am still dreaming of it now! So good. Recommend truffle and parmasean fries also Honestly I can not recommend this restaurant enough. I wish we lived closer Thank you again gents for the exquisite service and outstanding tummy satisfaction ❤️

We had a delicious porterhouse and T-bone steaks, juicy and flavorful. The sauces were really tasty as well. Service was excellent. The meat platter was also fabulous, as well as the wine. Highly recommend this place and will certainly come back again.

Quite simply, the BEST steak I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive — the kind of service that makes you feel genuinely looked after rather than just served.
I enjoyed a glass of Malbec alongside our meal, and it was absolutely lovely — the perfect pairing for such high-quality meat. We ordered the share plate with three steaks, and it was nothing short of incredible. Each cut was cooked to perfection, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. We also added the seasonal vegetable side, which was just as impressive — fresh, vibrant, and a stunning accompaniment to the main event.
This place is worth every penny. The quality of the food, the care in preparation, and the outstanding service make it a truly special dining experience. Even dessert was a 10/10 — the perfect way to finish an already exceptional meal.
A helpful tip: we didn’t realise there’s a lower entrance that avoids the steps, so I’d recommend walking around to use that if accessibility is a concern.

Lovely restaurant, unique in style as you go through the door and downstairs and then through a couple more doors. We were greeted upon arrival and shown to our seats. The restaurant is small and cozy and had a lovely atmosphere.
Our waiter was fabulous, very attentive and friendly. We each had a scotch fillet steak cooked to perfection. The chips were a tad over cooked but the mash was great. Would recommend a visit and we will return.
