We had our wedding at the Herb Lyceum last year! It was a beautiful venue the food was wonderful and the garden was beautiful. The staff were also kind and very welcoming to us and our guests. The only part which I would say looses a star would be coordination we definitely had to take most of this on our selves which luckily my husband’s very organized. Venue does have a day of coordinator but I would say it’s best just to get your own wedding planner to ensure everything’s as smooth as possible day of. But honestly my wedding was the best day of my life to date and I would 100% recommend them for your wedding or event 🙂

My daughter had her wedding here recently. Everyone had the absolute best time! The 5 course meal was fantastic. Every plate was a work of art. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The bar was set up outside under a beautiful tree and lawn games were scattered about. It was just a really relaxing place to hang with family and friends and celebrate a fantastic couple.

My second time attending one of their tasting menus and it did not disappoint. We brought a few friends with us this time and everyone e joyed themselves.
The service is excellent and the chefs descriptions and inspirations are a nice touch to make it really bring you from the farm to the table. The cuisine is thoughtful and well appointed. Everyone involved with the restaurant shows their appreciation for the ingredients and does their best to make you feel warm and welcomed.

My partner and I went here for a date night dinner recently after hearing about it from some friends. We made reservations and were promptly seated upon our arrival. Our server was knowledgable, attentive, and gracious during our meal, offering info on other dining options that they have throughout the year as well as a little background on the farm/bistro. The food was above expectations as my partner (of whom is from French origin), said it was the best meal he’s had in MA. What an accolade! I too greatly enjoyed it and really tasted the freshness of each ingredient and the passion of the kitchen. Thanks again for a wonderful meal and atmosphere, we will definitely return!

We did a Winter Wonderland dinner experience here with 8 friends. The entire evening was amazing:from food and fun at the fire pit to inside at a beautifully set table to the incredible food paired with uniquely crafted beverages. We highly recommend this place. The service from the staff was so attentive and each member was clearly invested in their craft and to the guests in attendance. Thank you!

We had an excellent dinner at the Herb Lyceum this evening. It seems that they run special types of dinners, and they are currently being a Bistro. The menu had a choice of 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 2 desserts. Our waiter walked us through the entire menu and described how each dish was prepared — this was very enticing. We had the Foie Gras Poutine and the Lobster Quenelle for appetizers. Both delicious.
For the entrees, we had the Mushroom Risotto and the Scallops Grenobloise. The mushrooms (4 varieties) came from a local farm (and our local farm CSA includes mushrooms from the same farm). One of the mushrooms was fried crispy and added a truly delightful crunch to the risotto.
Finally we both ended with the Tarte Tartin which was served with brown butter ice cream. Again, this was excellent.
After we finished, we chatted with the head chef and complimented him! All in all, this was a very enjoyable evening.

We live in Groton, and I’ve had the pleasure of going to the Herb Lyceum many times, and I’ve never been anything close to disappointed with their food or service! We went again for their New Year’s Eve dinner last night, and I’m not gonna lie, EVERYTHING was simply ouy of this world. 5 course meal that was one of the best meals I’ve ever had, and certainly my best experience there. Absolutely, highly recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. We had an 85 person wedding here in June and it was beyond beautiful. The grounds are so well kept and stunning. The FOOD…incredible. Our guests are still raving about the chicken slider passed apps and our dinner selection. Every detail was thought of and taken care of for us. Our coordinator Ariel was so easy to work with and made our day so smooth and worry free. I can’t recommend this place enough!

What a beautiful Christmas date we had yesterday night at the Herb Lyceum Winter Wonderland Dinner . The staff was very nice, the Cheff is a Professional not just by the food that was so fresh and ”re- delicious” since the first plate to the last also he is awesome as a person . He took care of us like nobody before trying to speak to us in our original language Spanish and always asking us if we need something . The decoration is so so beautiful , the warm environment and also they explained every dish that is served what they have and how they make it . I love this place and it won’t be the las time. Definitely a place you must to go So in love
