Reviews
Service was great, atmosphere great, food yummy! we highly recommend is the spicy tuna & crispy rice & the short rib potstickers as your appetizers.
From the moment we sat down, he was engaging, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun. It was my birthday and I wanted to splurge a little, so I typed out everything on the menu that spoke to me. It was a lot. Instead of rushing us or narrowing it down arbitrarily, Darius helped us work through the menu in a thoughtful, methodical way so we could truly build the best possible experience.
From the drinks, to the appetizers, to the main course, and even the complimentary dessert, every single dish was outstanding. The quality, flavor, and presentation at The Henry were exceptional, and Darius’ service and hospitality elevated it even further. He struck that perfect balance of attentive without hovering, confident without being pushy, and genuinely invested in making our brunch special.
If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. In fact, I think we will – my husband is going to leave a 5 stars review as well. This is how dining out should always feel. Thank you Darius!
We had a reservation made two days in advance. While delays on New Year’s Eve are understandable, being met with a cold attitude, visible annoyance, and even an eye roll toward my wife when we politely asked about our wait (15 minutes past our reservation) was unacceptable. She was noticeably warmer to another guest who appeared to be a personal acquaintance. For a high-end restaurant recommended by our hotel concierge, this was a poor first impression and nearly ruined our first visit on such a special night.
Once seated, the experience improved significantly. Our waiter Jake was welcoming and attentive, the food runners were great, the food and cocktails were excellent, and dessert was outstanding. Jake and the service team saved the evening and our first New year’s celebration in the Dallas Area for us.
I would recommend that The Henry’s management addresses this issue with their staff and educate them on the importance of first impressions if they want their brand to endure. I truly hope that this was simply an isolated moment and not representative of the hostess team overall, and that a future visit will fully reflect the high quality of the food, service, and atmosphere we enjoyed.
I returned and Casey took amazing care of us! A true talented employee who goes above and beyond!
We started with the short rib potstickers, which were amazing, tender, and full of flavor. For our entrées, we had the scallop dish and the seared tuna salad, both beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We finished with the lemon cake, which was light, bright, and the perfect ending to the meal.
Everything from the food to the service to the atmosphere was spot on.
