The Hemingway was stunning! It was beautifully decorated for Halloween with so much attention to detail. The staff worked so hard!! Jordan and Lidia provided wonderful service and made our night memorable. Highly recommend!

Five stars all around hands-down the best Bar in Rochester. Jordan was probably the best bartender I have ever had. She was very attentive and she made the drinks perfectly. I wouldn’t recommend any other place. The food is always amazing, The drinks always taste good. She did not make too strong or not too weak. If you haven’t been here, I would recommend coming.

Great place to go for a night out with friends or mature family. Probably made cocktails are a must. The food is of great quality as well. Prices definitely reflect the quality of craft cocktails. We had a Tropical Eggnog, Maple Bourbon Sour, and a Grinch Drink, which was by far my favorite as it has pistachio cream in it.

Everything here was amazing, we both had a great time. Jenna our waitress was amazing, hardworking, very polite and kind. She did an amazing job, she has a great personality and credit deserves to be given where it is due! I love the halloween decorations and the ambience. Everything was amazing! Beautiful place with a great staff especially Jenna, can’t thank her enough for how good of a job she did.

First time coming to the Hemmingway room. I came with a couple friends and we were very happy with the overall vibes of this place. Loved the live music. Our server, Sophia, made our experience unforgettable. We enjoyed our drinks, the service was AMAZING. Highly recommend this place.

The best part of this place was the friendly hostess. She was so nice. Your decorations for a halloween speakeasy are nothing more than sub par. Anyone can hang up orange and purple lights from Meijer. We got a seat a the bar but only received 1 chair. So as we are trying to read the menu with one of us standing and the other sitting down a rude old man came and said that we needed to push in our chair more. Who is this and why is a random customer telling us what we need to do? We were not blocking any aisle ways and because we only got one seat we tried to make it work. Anyways, after this ride encounter we decided to leave because none of your drinks even sounded good for the price. Also glad we did leave after seeing all of these negative reviews. Sounds like you guys have some work to do. Yikes.

I’ve been here before with a group and had a great time. The drinks were solid and the atmosphere was awesome. But when I came back in mid-October for their Halloween-themed setup, it was a horrible experience. We walked in and were told the wait time was “unpredictable” but that we were next. Over the next 30 minutes, four other groups came in, and three of them were seated before us all with larger parties. It was obvious they prioritized bigger groups to make more money, which felt really unfair and honestly discriminatory. We ended up leaving, disappointed and frustrated.

Such a good vibe with the Halloween decor! Loved the pumpkin spice martini not too much pumpkin! Overall amazing vibe and all the staff are so kind and helpful, will definitely be coming back this season !
