My wife and I’s favorite restaurant! This particular time, we were sat in a more secluded booth(as requested in my reservation) and my tomahawk Ribeye came out piping hot and uncut, as requested! The price is on the higher side, but it is worth every penny! Perfect place for my birthday!

My experience at The Hemingway was nothing short of amazing. I chose this restaurant to celebrate what would’ve been my late son’s 30th birthday. He transitioned in 2021 at the age of 25.
Each year, I try to honor his memory with something special, usually a trip or a celebration. This year, things didn’t go as planned, so I decided to do something different, something still meaningful. The Hemingway turned out to be the perfect choice.
From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and well taken care of by our hostess, Rebecca (I hope I’m remembering her name correctly it’s been a week since our visit). Every detail, every bit of kindness from the staff made our evening truly special.
Thank you all for creating such a beautiful and comforting experience on a day that means so much to my family and I.

Had an amazing dinner tonight at the Hemingway. I made a mistake with my reservation and they were able to slot us in at the bar after a short wait. Even had a lovely conversation with a neighbor. We had the pot a feu, pei oysters on the half shell, and a ribeye with truffle mashed potatoes. Topped off the amazing meal with pot au creme. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Every bite of food was quality. The crab cakes’ bready exteriors were complemented by the spice and water content of the accompanying sauce, the bearnaise paired well with the steaks’ seasonings and crust, the Hasselback potatoes au gratin were hard to put down: all of the culinary details were considered. I did not have a chance to try neither the cocktails nor the desserts. Naomi and all of the waitstaff were personable and attentive. The dining room was dimly-lit, decorated in a relaxing style reminiscent of a 1920’s lounge. If you like your steak to taste “gamey,” I recommend the bone marrow butter. I highly recommend The Hemingway!

This is a place worth checking out! The atmosphere was only surpassed by the filet! We love Ruth’s Chris and Mahogany, and The Hemingway gives both a run for their money overall. We were judging based on atmosphere, service, and food quality and each ranked a solid 5 stars, and took an easy second place if not first. The filet was perfectly cooked to medium, with a savory crisp outer edge. The cocktails were excellent and not over poured or too sweet. Oh, and the crab cakes were definitely in our top three! The vibe was casual but refined- perfect for a special dinner with someone you love or to impress an important client. We made our reservation for early evening on a Wednesday so parking was a breeze! The atmosphere was moody with rich colors and warm indirect lighting, and the music was low, but framed the background perfectly. We will definitely return, even just to have a cocktail at the bar, which appeared to be very well appointed from a distance. Special thanks to the staff for being just attentive enough to make the evening perfect and intimate. Loved it!!!!

We narrowed it down to 3 restaurants to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Hemingway was the final choice. We are not at all disappointed that we chose Hemingway over our other two options. The atmosphere is wondrous. Our server, I believe her name is Rebecca was funny, attentive, and very knowledgeable. All of the staff was helpful and kind. The food oh, man, the food! It was everything! The appetizer, Devils on horseback was so flavorful. My NY Strip was seasoned and cooked to perfect perfection. My husband got the House pasta and he absolutely loved it. Oh and let me not forget to mention that amazing bread, which is the reason I could not finish my steak! And to end our evening, several members of the staff recommended the Keylime pie, so that’s what we got and we were very pleased. It was so light which is the right amount of sweetness and that pecan graham cracker crust I believe it was, was delicious.

From the moment we walked in, The Hemingway impressed us with its chic atmosphere and exceptional service. We started with a variety of appetizers—bone marrow, crab cakes, arancini, and oysters—all perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor.
For our mains, we enjoyed the Chilean sea bass, rich lobster bisque, a beautifully cooked pork chop over creamy mashed potatoes, and a 16oz ribeye topped with indulgent Alaskan king crab. Every bite was spot-on, from presentation to taste.
The cocktails and mocktails were just as memorable. The dirty martini was one of the best we’ve had—balanced, cold, and exactly right.
A big shoutout to our server, Parker, who guided us through the menu with knowledge and enthusiasm, making thoughtful recommendations that elevated our entire experience.

Enjoyed our dinner last night. Food was perfect and our server Angel took special care of our table. She explained the menu and had recommendations that did not disappoint! The restaurant is beautiful and we were able to hold conversation without competing with music or other patrons. Will definitely return.

My 3rd visit was again top notch, and I was even pleasantly surprised to learn that the chef had made a point of preparing a vegan/gluten free off-menu meal for my date on Valentine’s day. Upon being greeted by the server, she confirmed the allergy details and let us know that the chef had already started something for her (no obiligation of course). The entire meal was perfect and service was wonderful. This place remains my goto for special occasion meals.
2024 Review:
I have now been here twice and while my first visit was somewhat uneven, my second visit was what I had hoped for from a restaurant of this caliber where I had high expectations. This is a very elegant restaurant hidden in the bottom of an apartment building on 15th Street with comfortable seating throughout and is the perfect location for a romantic evening or special event.
Service was top notch (thanks to Angel and AK) with attention to every detail, extensive options and accommodations for my companion’s dietary restrictions, and an overall wonderful experience.
We essentially ordered the same items (NY Strip and Salmon) but with a different side item on this visit. From the previous visit, I can say that the Au Gratin potatoes and Mac and Cheese are amazing, I would add the brussell sprouts to the list of great side dishes based on the latest dinner. I also recommend the wedge salad for the addition of dill to the creamy herb dressing.
Having been to a few steakhouses in the Tulsa area, and many across the country, I can safely say that this is one worth visiting again for an upscale, high quality experience.

Are you kidding me?????? Absolutely blown away by the service. I genuinely cannot believe how incredible our experience was! Naomi was our server and went above and beyond in every way possible. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and welcoming energy. She was sweet, attentive, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Every recommendation she made was spot on, and she made sure we had everything we needed without us even having to ask. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly loves what they do and puts so much care into making others feel comfortable and taken care of, but Naomi did just that and more. She made our entire dining experience feel special and personal. The food was absolutely phenomenal fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We left feeling full, happy, and already planning our next visit. 100% amazing food and 100% outstanding service. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Thank you, Naomi, for making our night so memorable!
