So much fun!! Went 2/18. Slow night- bar was empty. Bar back and bartender were super engaging and suggested beers…gave us samples to try and suggested beer to go with our dinner choices. Food was amazing- best French onion soup I’ve ever had. Baked feta and broccoli appetizer was awesome!! I’ll be back for sure.

Great service and phenomenal cocktails. Great beer selection. Beau and Jack are the best bar-keeps around. Made me one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had accompanied with funny banter. Order the Sazerac. I will be back soon! Keep it up, fellas

Really great spot. The kettle chips were amazing, and the caesar salad so refreshing. We had a chicken sandwich and a Philly special and they were so delicious. It seems like they have a seasonal menu. The food was so good I forgot to take a picture of our sandwiches!

Service is bad. Took 20 minutes to get seated even though there was ample seating.
Waitress took awhile to get to us then forgot waters and two of our drinks. Had to remind her.
Came back later for food which took ~ 1 hour to come out. Cheesesteak was $17 and small. She asked if “fries were ok” and that ended up being an extra $3 charge on our tab for each side of fries.
She forgot the chicken for one of our salads. Beer was good, but wine was $15 a glass and was around half a glass worth of wine.
Seemed like a cool pub but food was not good, service terrible, and very overpriced.

Had a reservation but unfortunately weren’t able to eat here. The place was so severely understaffed that when we finally spoke to a staff member, they explained the situation.
Apparently the reservation info does not make it to the actual restaurant. They had no visibility whatsoever which leaves it impossible for them to prepare.
We visited another restaurant by this same group (to my knowledge) l nearby, and the situation was the same. I feel terrible for the staff members-they’re in an awful situation. It’s not their fault. Management/ownership needs to get their house in order.

You might walk into this place thinking it is ‘quiet’ or perhaps undesirable, but have no fear… The service is unbelievable and the food is a step up from that. This pub is home grown and delivers a local experience. We ordered the mussels and cheese steak, best in town (we’ve had 3 different ones). The drinks are strong and delicious and the bar tender/server/manager is top notch. Please give this place a chance, it is SO WORTH IT!!!

This place was great for us the few nights we stayed in Philly! Great hospitality, Ellen was phenomenal put the games on we needed to watch, chatted with locals and visitors they were all happy with the food, our food was amazing! One of the best cheesesteaks we had in Philly and we tried quite a few! The debate was 1st or 2nd best that we tried around town!
It may look deader than most but don’t let it discourage you it is amazing pub with exceptional service!

We had a large group (about 15) for dinner on a Thursday night and the organizer had the back half of the restaurant set up just for us. The two owners, bartender and waitstaff were all very friendly, attentive without being smothering and really showed their enthusiasm for their food and beverages. I tried their Witchhammer cocktail, which was excellent. I had two! Pork belly app and the steak frites were wonderful and finished with the olive oil cake. Highly recommend!

Hayes always has great food and great service. Cozy little Irish bar that always has a friendly staff and neighborhood vibe. Easy mid-week home away from home. The french onion soup is a cozy winter staple.

Worst service we’ve ever had. When my husband, after an hour, said he’s still waiting, she said for what? HIS FOOD. His sandwich was sitting in the kitchen and was cold. I had to get up for utensils and then appetizer plates. This was horrible and our server was nasty. She has curly chin length hair and a terrible attitude. Overall, one star.
