Usually I try to order ham & cheese omelettes when I visit diners, but this diner’s price for that dish is not competitive with other diners. So I opted for the egg/sausage/hash browns/toast plate. I ordered coffee initially (the cup is HUGE), but my server didn’t bring any creamers or give me a spoon to stir it (??). She was friendly, but did not top off my coffee or ask me if everything was ok. The utensils were mismatched, again a pet peev of mine. The coffee and food were good, no complaints there. The atmosphere here was very loud and cold (unusually so). Their only bathroom is unisex, and the bathroom door was 3 feet from the nearest table (gross!!!). Overall, I was not impressed with the service or atmosphere, but the food was pretty good. You’d be better served if you had it take out.

Been twice, waitress didn’t know what came with the orders. She was honestly a total sweetheart. She was unsure of what comes with your order.. The cook has absolutely no clue how to make true barbacue. Second time…. Do not order the home fries. No flavor! If I’m paying 25.00 for 2 and the bacon in the omelets weren’t even cooked the same. Wasn’t asked what toast I wanted. That was my fault

I have tried and tried to give this cafe chance after chance. They won’t let food trucks in while they are open but when u order a $11.00 Philly and you only get a teaspoon of steak and only onions no peppers. I called to complain about my plate and was told we ran out of Philly steak WHAT??? IF THEY CANT GIVE GOOD SERVICE SHUT DOWN !!!!

We have never been disappointed in the food, always good. The waitresses are very pleasant & it’s clean. We will definitely be back.

Very disappointed. While the food was fine, the place was filthy! Not a clean vacant table in site, and there were plenty of vacant tables. Flooors dirty.
Plus we had to ask for utensils, then ask for napkins…..
But my favorite was “orange juice please. I’m sorry we’re out, is there another choice? Sure how about grapefruit.
Sorry we only have orange….

And seriously folks, it’s the 21st century. Get a CC machine already. Cash only……. really?

Dear Kim,
My family was seated at the table waiting for your waitress to come back. We had our BREAKFAST menus in hand by 10:45am. We even called in before we came to be sure we could have breakfast at this time and was told we would be ok as long as our order was in before 11Am. The waitress came back and switched out our BREAKFAST menus for lunch at 1050 am. REALLY!!!! That was absolutely horrible To think this could happen. I will skip your breakfast and if I have to drive 20 miles I will do so. Please dont say you ran out of food. It is poor business practice if you can not manage you business better than that!!
I agree that the food is excellent and I like the interior much better than it used to be. The staff is wonderful and nice. The only problem I have at this restaurant is going to be that they do not take credit cards. Also found out today that you no longer get refills all soft drinks. You pay 1.75 for a can. My daughter got unlimited tea. I like things better the way it was last year even if I didn’t take credit card. So I will drive somewhere else.

Great place and awesome folks working here. You will wait for your food for a reason. Delicious and fresh. Super affordable. Lauren was our waitress and was polite and pleasant to be around.
