The happy sumo is a good and “fancy-ish” restaurant. We got the Tuna Tataki and it was 5/5! The service is good and the restaurant is kept pretty clean as well. The sushi tastes fresh and that Tuna was the best tuna i’ve ever had. I’d recommend to try this place out!

I loved this place! Our server checked in on us every few minutes which was great! Even made a few jokes with us! Food was amazing! Filled me up quickly and took alot of it home to eat later! So yummy! We loved our seats and they accommodated our big party of people and the little kids! And it was my mom’s birthday! They treated her so well and wished her happy birthday! Would recommend this place!

Just ate here. The sushi rolls we ordered were not good. Plain and blah. The appetizers -tempura shrimp seems kind of soggy. And the potstickers were not crispy enough.

We love and have been coming to happy sumo for years. It’s a great environment and service is usually quick and good. Holly did a great job. The last time we went my entree came out way later than my husband’s which was mildly inconvenient. We shared his sushi until mine came. They had a seasonal sushi roll with jalapeños and lime and escolar sashimi that should be on the permanent menu! It was so good! Make it permanent. Also, I feel like the temperature of the restaurant is always on the cold side, so be prepared for that.
