The salad was a generous portion, with the chicken being well seasoned and not dry. The greens weren’t over dressed and, overall, tasted of quality ingredients.
The burger was good. Quality beef and the rest were as expected. Although 100% my fault not reading it on the menu, there are no sides included with the burgers, so I went to order some onion rings after my burger came to the table. They were out, so I went with the fries. They were delicious and (as noted on the menu) are not ok for gluten or wheat sensitive folks due to a tasty coating. On that same note, they don’t offer a lettuce wrap or gluten-free bun option but will do a burger on a bed of lettuce if eating a burger with a knife and fork is your jam.
Limited beer menu and very limited wine offerings, but that’s ok! The Cab was nice , the peach white was sweet!!!
Overall, it was a great experience and I’m sure if you’re looking for a good quick meal, you’ll be happy too!
June 2024: Best burgers in 29 Palms! So excited to have them in town. Restaurant is clean, restrooms are clean.
Great food! My personal favorite is Grandma’s Tacos. My family enjoyed a delicious bacon burger, a regular burger and a turkey sandwich. Food was so good we ate in silence.
As more people came into the restaurant, they all received the same lack of service. I recall the table next to us taking more than 30 minutes to get a breakfast burrito and some scrambled eggs.
oh yeah, remember how I said we ordered two easy meals. The most difficult part about one of the sandwiches was for it to have no cheese as my wife is lactose intolerant. Of course, when we get the food, she takes a bite only to find out that, Yep, there are two slices of cheese Melted into the bread. When we pointed it out to the server, and asked for two more pieces of toasted bread for the sandwich, five minutes later, they brought two plain pieces of white bread, untoasted and without the sauce that was under the cheese on the original bread.
To top it all off, the restaurant apparently thinks that it is their duty to preach the gospel to me as there were several little placards around the restaurant letting me know that Jesus Christ was the savior. If I want to sermon, I will go to church. If I want food, I go to a restaurant.
