Tasty little pizza shop in Monroe. We got a meat and a chicken bacon ranch. Both were really good.

We ordered the breakfast pizza. It took about 15 minutes to get it and it was very, very hot when it came out. They have a couple tables and bottled pop, so we ate there, but it’s clearly more of a take-out place. The pizza had a lot of sauce, which was nice, though I would’ve liked that sauce to have more pepper. It was hard to taste the other toppings besides the sauce, but overall it was one of the better breakfast pizzas I’ve had.

I really like this place. I just wish that the pizza wasn’t burnt on the edges. Can we request ro not have it burnt? I’ve ordered the “baked pastas” a few time’s and received the wrong thing. They were very polite and excellent with correcting it! Customer service here is great. Only thing I request is, if you plan to stop taking orders before your closing time, you should post it on your web page. We moved back here recently and I highly recommend this place for their food. It is a 1000 time’s better than Victory Lane and much, much cleaner inside. Thank you Hangry Hornet Family for your amazing service and bringing us delicious food here in our lovely little town Monroe.

Quality and accuracy have dropped as of late. We would ask for marinara and get cheese sauce. Or no sauce at all. Mistakes happen. But last night was the final straw. The Philly pizza was raw in the middle. Straight up dough. Someone is going to get sick. I’m not sure how this was sent out the door. Take and bake probably isn’t a bad idea but those prices are generally lower and not offered through delivery.

Got pretzels and garlic knots and taco pizza and pasta bread bowl. Pretzels extremely underdone and almost gooey. Garlic knots okay. Taco pizza was worst I’ve ever had. No taste. Almost burnt crust. With a little meat on top. I assume that was soir cream the melted white stuff. Then piled with big pieces of lettuce and shredded cheese. Cheese should have been melted and then a little lettuce after the oven. Salsa also would have helped. Pasta bread bowl is not a bowl . It’s pizza with pasta on top. We dined in. 3 tables of 2 is all they have. We got a 2 liter of pop. They had to go next door to beg for cups from jimmy johns. Should have tried the pizza

Pizza was good, however the deluxe was lacking in toppings. I saw pepperoni, a few peppers no mushrooms or sausage.

We had our first Hangry Hornet pizzas last night. Kids had cheese and dad had Chicago style with sausage. Both were really good. The kids pizza had a good chewy cheese and the Chicago crust was like bread. We’ll keep trying them all!
