Was passing by and decided to stop in for look around. It was great to see a healthy change to the area. The owners were very nice and they have a great atmosphere. It isn’t what is used to be, but it’s aiming to be much better. They have food trucks that will coming through. You can find out through their Facebook.

This is an air force themed bar that welcomes everyone. The owners who you will meet behind the bar are super friendly and genuinely easy to like. This was originally built by my great grandfather and grandfather. Originally it was Dahn’s Tavern. Many years later it was sold and became Charlie’s. It’s passed hands a few times since then but being as that my grandfather retired from Ellsworth, after overseeing the Minute Man Project, I think he and his father would get a real kick out of what it has become.

No A/C in bar left early for that reason would have stayed. Needs a jukebox or better stereo system. People want to go to bar drink cold beer and listen to music not sweat and hear themselves think.
