Pretty cool place. Met a friend who was flying out of SFO – quite convenient for that. Easy parking and Uber service. Very quiet at 10am just the coffee shop open but all the seating areas and the patio were open so a great spot for that – much quieter than Starbucks.

Huge new place with plenty of seating and good options. Came at breakfast time and grabbed a cappuccino ( good) and a breakfast burrito (disappointing). It was clear that the burrito was reheated, not freshly made. It was reheated to an extreme heat such that it was painful to eat. Even the last bites were scorching hot. Crazy.
Note: I returned for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed my Beef Bulgogi

We picked The Layover place to eat because I had never tried any Gochu Tofu with Kimchi in a restaurant, that I had always heard people talking about.
It was overall a good experience, not so pricy honestly.
I picked vegetarian option, my flexitarian friends were equally happy with choices and taste.

This is a great place to work from! I love the outlet accessibility and the different lunch options. I recently enjoyed the bar upstairs and I will be back again!

Arrived at 9:30 on Friday morning hoping to have breakfast. All that was open was Peak Provisions. And all that was available were re-heatable options. A little desperate, I ordered a bagel & cream cheese. (Why am I asked for a tip amount before I am served?)

So I am ‘served’ a paper bag with the bagel, two small containers of cream cheese, and a plastic knife. I think you can see how dry the bagel was just by looking at the photo.

Yes, the place is bright, pleasant and has lots of seating. And I appreciate the sustainability mindset that Hangar generally tries to honor. I have had lunch here before (La Ventana.) It was OK, so I was giving Hangar another try.

I understand that it is hard to deal with the fickle clientele on Oyster Point. There are lots of nearby businesses where their employees work-from-home many days of the week – especially Fridays. It is a tough situation. So Hangar needs to find a way. Day-old bagels is not the way.

By the way – bike parking out in front would be a really nice feature.

I grew up in Athens… I travel now to South San Francisco… straight off airplane to place with wonderful reviews. The Hangar. I find salad that reminds me of home, but it is not home. It says something else. Do better Hangar.

Checking out the eateries near the office. I found this place known as the Hangar in the Oyster Point area. It has 6 different restaurants serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Orders are placed at touch screen kiosks. It had quite a variety of cuisines available including Latin, Korean, and American. I’ll have to go back to try each dish. The place is clean, new, and modern.

The artisanal coffee bar is a must-visit for coffee lovers, serving expertly crafted drinks in a cozy setting. Beyond the food, the venue boasts unique event spaces and state-of-the-art conferencing facilities, making it ideal for both social gatherings and business meetings. The blend of aviation-inspired décor and local history creates an atmosphere that’s both sophisticated and inviting.

Love The Hangar and so happy it opened as I’m lucky enough to work next door. Everything I’ve ordered so far has been high quality and tasty. I’ve tried the salad bar, tuna melt and japchae noodles. I find the prices reasonable for the area and quality. The entire space is very well decorated and designed. Can’t wait for the bar to open upstairs, check out the upstairs patio too. Oh also the coffee bar is really good too, thanks Eugene!
