Let me preface this review by saying the restaurant is charming, and the service was great. With that said, the food is awful. The burger, while good in appearance, wasn’t seasoned at all. The burger tasted like a patty of boiled hamburger meat. You need to salt beef in order for it to stand out. This is grilling 101. Worst of all though, were the fries. I can’t recall the last time I had such dry fries. And again, zero salt added to them. Zero. There is nothing worse than an overcooked fry with zero flavor. This place could be great if they actually paid attention to the quality of their food. There’s no excuse for serving flavorless, overcooked food.

Love this spot! Great shakes, great fries, great onion rings, super friendly staff. The burgers are smashed and grilled perfectly, my partner loves them. They have a veggie burger option too which is also good. Great place to eat outside on a nice day over on the stools or picnic tables.

The kids really enjoyed there food. 2 got cheese burgers and the third enjoyed a hotdogs. My burger wasn’t to bad. The only issue I had was I couldn’t taste any seasoning or spices in the meat. I really like the bun on the burger. The fries were super good as well. It’s cool how they give you salt so you can season them as much as you want. We will be going back….

This place is a little gem if you’re a fan of fresh burgers. These are just delicious – I love that you can get a double that isn’t enormous. The fries and milkshake are no joke, either. I would love to stop back and try the poutine, hot dog, and more ice cream flavors too, as the photos I’ve seen make them look delicious as well. Prices are super reasonable as well, and the staff is very friendly. A perfect spot for a yummy summer meal.

So glad they’re open again!! I have been a fan for as long as I’ve lived in the area. Everything here is good, but IMHO the poutine, buffalo tenders, hamburgers, crispy chicken sandwiches, onion rings, and milkshakes/malts are the best! And no meal is complete without a side of the special sauce. Happy, friendly staff, and quick service with a smile! Yum (pictured is a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato added, a side of special sauce, and a coffee milkshake.)

I cannot get enough of The Hamburger Stand. Everything they do is absolutely phenomenal! Simple, fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Their burgers are awesome, but holy heck their breakfast sandwiches fill a void that hasn’t been filled since I moved to Maine 7 years ago. The perfect bacon egg and cheese. And to top it off the staff and ownership are absolutely lovely. We are lucky to have this place!

I ordered the single burger and onion rings. The burger was smaller so next time I’ll order the double. The burger was cooked perfectly, I really enjoyed it. Most of the onion rings were very over cooked and burnt. The onion rings weren’t burnt were good.

Staff is really nice. Tricky part is parking but if you come up Elm St with the hamburger stand on your right there is a smidge of parking there otherwise I’d suggest parking on the side road between Dunkin donuts and the hamburger stand to make it easier to get out into traffic. The fries were just right, not over cooked but with just enough crispiness that you can eat them on their own unless you like ketchup 🙂 the burger was simple which I ordered the single. The pepper jack cheese was a perfect addition to the burger. I usually like my burgers a little less cooked but it was still good. I will definitely be going again.

They have great deals the waitress is very friendly they make their double burger to perfection, the burger was cooked medium well an thats what I got.. the fries are good with out vinegar but with makes wonderful. If you add a few friends with vinegar to ur burger omg the best thanks so very much for the time you take to not slap it together an make sure it’s what we want.. we love pepperjack cheese an it made the burger stand out.. just need spicey relish also I must say they area that surrounds this place is nice picnic tables, an their clean
