Great seafood tower, be aware that its all chilled seafood. The proportions of the salad were a great shareable size for 2 and the chowder was delicious.
We loved the sauces that came with the tower, the cocktail sauce was so good. The chowder had some dill in it that really rounded out the flavors.
Would have loved to of seen wet naps given to clean yourself after dealing with all that seafood.

Came here for carbonara with scallops, but unfortunately the menu changed. I settled on Linguine & Clams; it was a pesto sauce that overall was okay if you like the taste of clams. As well, tried the Chowder, which was too creamy and pretty expensive for vegetable soup. Also, confused why it’s just chowder and not seafood chowder. The Seafood Risotto was good. But the best food item was the Chocolate Pot. It was very rich, but not too sweet. At least a nice end to a disappointing dinner.

First, the food: our mixed selection of oysters was outstanding, and the in-house smoked salmon—WOW—absolutely phenomenal. Both dishes deserve rave reviews for their freshness and flavor.
Next, the waitstaff: truly perfect. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, they guided us through the menu with ease and great recommendations.
And finally, the views—just incredible. You simply can’t beat them.

I had a great experience at The Half Shell Oysters & Seafood in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The service was friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. The chowder was disappointing, too watery. The mussels, clams, scallops and shrimp were fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.

We stopped by primarily for drinks but I couldn’t resist ordering some oysters. Great view from the patio and excellent service. We both had one of the drink specials which was a watermelon Margarita and they were super refreshing and tasty. We would definitely return.

Absolutely the best oysters I’ve ever had in my life! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a great vibe all around. The staff were in such good spirits, super friendly, and made us feel right at home. We wish we could come here for lunch more often – it’s a true gem in Lunenburg!

We had lunch at Half Shell after a round of golf and really enjoyed it. The outdoor seating area is fantastic. We ordered the Seafood Tower, which was absolutely amazing, and the fish tacos, which my husband really liked. We’re already looking forward to coming back for dinner.

Nice little spot in Lunnenburg! Not too many seating options but when the weathers good it’s an awesome spot to go!! The fish tacos and oysters are some of the best I’ve had and the service was amazing thanks to our awesome server Nicki. Would definitely recommend this spot!

We stopped here for a drink while exploring Lunenburg and it was the perfect place to relax. The staff were very friendly, service was quick, and the drinks were delicious. We sat in the back facing the water, and the view was absolutely lovely. A great spot to unwind!

Had a wonderful dinner with my family here. Everything was delicious and super fresh!! The seafood platter was a great way to have a taste of everything – half lobster, king crab leg, oysters, shrimps, clams. Worth it. The scallop pasta was awesome! Very generous amount of scallops!! A must try. Recommend reservations but if not, worth the wait…walk around and they will call u when table is ready.
