So found this great halal place near Stony Brook University, very clean and staff are really friendly. Look for Robin, he served us and was very generous with the amount of food. You can customize your plate with your mix of chicken and gyro and other options are available as well. They have a good menu to choose from. The gyro meat pieces were a bit too big for me and this was the first time I could not finish my halal food and the amount of food they give you is good for two meals, at least for me. Must try their No 5 sauce! Great place will definitely come back.

I’ve been here a few times as they do make pretty good food.
They have the standard Halal fare such as Gyro, Chicken, Fried Fish, etc over rice or salad which are very tasty dishes. My suggestion is to choose the Spicy Chicken for your protein as it is delicious and has a good kick of spice to it.
My only complaint is that the white sauce (a Halal STAPLE) is too thin and watery. I usually have to order it on the side or it just makes the salad soggy and it all sinks to the bottom of the tray.
If you like a bit of kick, order the #5 sauce. Yes, it’s called number 5 and it is a sweet and spicy chipotle sauce. I am typically uninterested in anything chipotle but this sauce is quite delicious.
The fried chicken is also pretty good, I do wish they made a spicy version of it as the standard coating is a bit on the bland side.
Overall, I do enjoy the food though I would love to see the white sauce stepped up to compete with other local Halal haunts or, dare I say, compete with the NYC cart white sauce.

Tried for the first time the other day. Nice place inside and quick service. Portion size of the salad and rice dishes are great. Food is tasty and sauces are as well. Thought the chicken could’ve been a bit less fatty, but it was still great. Will definitely return!

I had the falafel lunch over seasoned rice with chilpolte dressing . The falafel was one of the best ones I’ve had in Suffolk .
She insisted I try some of the white sauce on the side which was DELICIOUS . Place was very clean and falafel and salad was delicious . I will definitely be back .

Best spicy chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Philly cheesesteak tastes as good as it looks. The halal platter is also unique because they have feta cheese and several signature sauces. Also, instead of “over rice” or “over salad” you can get your platter “over fries,” which is easily the best option. It’s sleek on the inside and I love the decor!

Great food and large portions for the price. Food tastes like it’s freshly prepared and well seasoned. The grilled chicken is heavily seasoned with black pepper which I like but my wife finds it a bit too spicy. Sauces (especially white sauce) are great. Always eat here when Im visiting Stony Brook.

People working here are super nice and place is very clean. It is near the university which makes it a nice food option if you study or work there. Now let’s get to the food…Pictured below is lamb over rice with white sauce..if you can find the white sauce! Rice were delicious…portion size is smaller than most “other” halal spots … the lamb was like cardboard…so maybe having proper white sauce would have made it taste better. but it didn’t since white sauce was more like 1% milk with no flavor.
