Super disappointed with this Halal Guys. The food and service quality has gone way downhill.
First off, the lady who seemed to be the manager had a bad attitude and zero energy. I was the only customer in there, and now I see why it was empty.
Secondly, I asked for my white and BBQ sauce on the side got tiny cups and hardly any BBQ in there. The lettuce was big chunks of romaine that tasted spoiled, and the whole platter looked horrible.
I’ve been coming here for years since I live five minutes away, but it’s not the same anymore. Thankfully I used my points for a free platter, because if I paid for that meal, I’d be furious instead of just disappointed. Also didn’t even receive a receipt. Unfortunately I will not be returning there again, instead I will opt out for another option for dinner.

Nice location, very clean dining area and restrooms. Nice servers, good music, and generous food portions but sadly the food wasn’t quite good. Had a chicken salad and meat was too dry and no taste at all. Lots is Lettuce, diced tomatoes and chopped onion. That’s all you get for $15 At least this chicken protein option is not recommended.

Not a regular, but my love craves it once in a while. Not sure it lives up to the hype they once had, but it does satisfy a craving, so isn’t that the point? Anyway only my second time at a Halal Guy and I have to say the service had been great both times. Also, both times during Covid so just walk up and order, but still really friendly. This time I ordered while my GF was in the car with our dog, so asked about some of the veggie options and found you can add jalapeños and bell pepper for free, so why not, especially since they put it on the side with lettuce and tomato if you ask. Pretty cool for them to do that and when I asked for sauces, they already had enough in the bag but were happy to provide more if I needed some. After a quick check, found they put what I needed and them some, so again pretty cool service. Food is good, not great for Mediterranean food IMO since I have some other faves, but it did hit the spot so I’m happy.

This is my first time here. I downloaded the app and signed up. They gave me a free side and drink to go with the entree I ordered. I had a plate with beef and chicken. It came with pita bread, rice, lettuce, tomato, cheese and sauces. Everything was delicious. It was more than enough for 2 meals. You even get crispy fries with a Yelp check-in. Fountain drinks are refreshing and refillable. Can’t wait to come back again!!!

But today i felt like having something fresh and healthy so i chose “The Halal Guys”.
And i am glad i went with that choice!
Grab the Regular plate for $13 you get a choice of 2 proteins rice and salad and choice of free side toppings such as jalapeño, bell peppers , onions.
The Hot Sauce is really really spicy soo be careful! They have a mango tea that is to die for! A bit of a wait on saturday since they only had 2 employee’s but it was worth the wait!

After a terrible experience at the Rowland Heights location, decided to go to this one instead. I am glad! They know what they are doing here. Clearly, management is more sensible and applies proper measures to protect themselves and patrons.

– single chairs with covid signs spaced out for those who want to sit and wait for their orders
– posted signs on door of mandatory masks required
– contactless payment terminal (Samsung pay, Google pay, not sure on Apple Pay)
– order counter has door held open preventing any physical contact

Mobile order pick up. Stood in line at the marked distance spaces. Got to the front but order was not ready at the given pick up time. Took about extra 7 minutes to be done but it was fresh. Was able to redeem Yelp check-in free fries with platter purchase since not able to claim in the app. The staff member was courteous and allowed redemption. Might be why my order took a bit longer to receive because of the fries. It was made exactly as ordered yay!
I saw 2 customers in line while I was waiting away from the line. They were the only ones in line but they crowded the front of the line at the cashier. They should have waited in the marked spaces in line and wait to be called up to place their orders. These customers were not distancing themselves! I think Halal Guys staff should remind customers to please stand behind the line until called to step up for order especially when the cashier is juggling taking new orders and handing out finished orders. Since these customers were crowding the front, they were too close to the cashier when she was calling orders for pick up. That’s not very safe and could easily been prevented.

The fact that it’s halal is great, but I remember eating it in NY a few years ago and liking it more.
I found it a bit dry and there wasn’t much meat or chicken. The sauce is good, but the falafel was overcooked and dry.
