Potential is there, but the execution is messy.
Safety & Hygiene:
I watched a staff member fill the ice, put the lid directly on the floor, walk away, come back through the crowd, and put that same lid back on the container. There was also a light fixture with an open socket exposed.
Operations:
From a management perspective, the workflow is broken. There were 7 or 8 waitresses swarming a small window with mixed messaging about where to order. The kitchen was backed up,it took 34 minutes to get our food despite the place not being at full capacity. The owner was rushing around running food while the serving staff stood around. The “management check” at the table felt like a drive-by rather than genuine engagement.
Food & Atmosphere:
The bun was slathered in grease and the meat was over-seasoned. Fries seemed generic (likely the same as the previous owner). It’s incredibly loud inside, hard to hold a conversation, and the decor feels cheap, with printed paper signs taped over old metal ones. Even the staff uniforms are already peeling.
They are trying, but they need to tighten up operations before I’d recommend it.

We had the pastor torta which the presentation was great. Once eating the torta I feel like it could’ve used more meat. In my opinion it felt like there wasn’t enough meat, especially for the price. I grew up eating tortas with beans inside of them to which this one didn’t. We also had the fried macaroni and cheese to which we found to be an overall good taste but the serving was small. But Overall the staff was great with being friendly and getting drinks and food immediately out to us. Atmosphere was great for beers and football with tv’s in every direction.

Been here twice. 1st was just OK. 2nd try was worse. Forgetful and inattentive waitress, fries were way too salty and $9 queso was a small bowl barely halfway filled. Won’t be back. Food is not horrible, but service is lacking

I randomly spot by this place with my boyfriend for lunch. Evelyn was very friendly and helpful when it came to ordering our food. The food came out hot and fresh and was delicious!!! I will definitely be back.

The food was great! However it is way overpriced. It was my family of 4, two of us got burgers, one brisket nachos and my child hotdog and our bill was $102 including tip. Of course we all got softdrinks which were a little over $4 a piece. Then my kids starting playing on the pool take, that wasn’t plugged in, balls were on the table and pool sticks in the holder. The pool table was very flimsy and not leveled yes at the end of the bill, she charged us $15 for playing on the pool table that was on our bill. I’m not satisfied with this place and we’ll not be back.

Went here on Friday with a friend to have some drinks and had an amazing time. The service was good so I decided to bring my friend from work to have lunch here today. He also enjoyed himself and the food is even better than it smells. Manager Nathan kept checking on us and made sure we were taken care of. Will be coming back again
