This place was absolutely delicious. It was easily one of the best gyros I have had in New Jersey. I ordered the gyro fries as well, and they were just as impressive. The portions were generous, especially for the price, and everything was packed with flavor. The interior is beautifully designed with a great vibe, making it a comfortable spot for lunch, dinner, or even getting some work done. It was my first time visiting, and I will definitely be coming back with my family. I highly recommend it.

They deserve to market themselves as “fine-fast food” – it’s the best Greek fast food we’ve had in the US. The gyro is authentic, they use quality ingredients, the staff was friendly, it’s clean, the atmosphere is cozy & inviting, and the shop with imported Greek products was very nostalgic for us Greeks! 100/10 recommend. Delicious.

Such a great Greek spot! The vibe is beautiful and super inviting. The girls who helped us were so sweet and friendly. I had the spanakopita and baklava—both were absolutely delicious. We also got the Greek club sandwich, which was fresh and really tasty, and the fries were cooked perfectly. Highly recommend and will definitely be back to try more desserts!

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at the Gyro Project in Fort Lee, NJ, and it was a delightful experience. Having moved to New Jersey years ago, I’ve struggled to find gyros that compare to those from my hometown. When a childhood friend visited, we decided to give this place a shot.
Nestled among a variety of eateries, the Gyro Project stood out with its bright, colorful decor and ample parking. The ambiance felt reminiscent of a traditional Grecian courtyard, making it quite inviting. Despite walking in on the tail end of a busy evening, the staff managed to maintain a well-organized atmosphere. I appreciated the selection of Greek products available for purchase, adding to the authenticity.
The girl at the counter was incredibly sweet as I placed my order. I opted for the classic gyro (sans fries), lentil soup, and chicken skewers, while my friend chose a gyro bowl with lemon herb potatoes. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. We couldn’t resist trying the mini spanakopita, which was a fantastic choice.
There was a slight hiccup when they forgot to bring my friend’s dinner out, but the staff handled it graciously. They remade my gyro to ensure it was warm and even offered us dessert on the house. Their attentive service truly made a difference.
Overall, my first visit to the Gyro Project was enjoyable, and we all agreed it’s worth a return trip. While it may not fully match the expectations set by the two gyro spots I grew up with, it certainly comes close.

This Greek restaurant has a really nice ambiance and spacious decor which makes it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The service is fast and friendly. The food is delicious. The dip sampler was amazing and we got the gyro platter which was also really tasty. Overall, it’s a great spot for good food, a comfortable atmosphere, and efficient service—I’d definitely come back.

Last-minute decision to stop by for brunch on the way to a hike near Fort Lee And boy was it worth it. Lighting, decor and Greek music are superb. The entire restaurant is impeccably clean. The ordering process was smooth and the food arrived so fast (within the 3 minutes btwn ordering & sitting down) it was as if Zeus’ delivered it on a bolt of lightning from Mt. Olympus. Bowl (pictures), falafel & pita sampler were excellent. Gyro ingredient ratios need to be distributed a bit better. Highlight on a rainy day trip that was almost a bust!

The food was simply amazing! I had the chicken gyro platter with pickled onions and Greek croquettes. The chicken gyro was well seasoned. The customer service provided by the staff was great! Also, if you order the gyro plate make sure to order extra pita because it is so good. I wish a location could be built in Dallas!

I drove 1 hr 12 min from Connecticut just to eat at Gyro Project in New Jersey, and it was worth every mile. It was my last week of having normal meals before my bodybuilding competition, and this place exceeded all my expectations.
Michelle served me and went above and beyond, suggesting what to try and even bringing out extras I didn’t order so I could taste them. The food? The best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere? Cozy and welcoming. The service? Michelle made the entire night unforgettable.
If I could give this place 1000 stars, I would. So worth the drive, and once my competition is over, I’m coming back with my people to celebrate. Thank you, Michelle, for making this meal & night so special for me!!!

The Gyro project never disappoint we are regulars since they opened a few year, I usually order through the app online and the food is always great , today since the weather was pretty good I and my girlfriend we decided to visit Walgreens in the plaza after the pharmacy we popped in The gyro project! We order two 2 soups for appetizer that we like and for dinner she had the shrimp dinner plate I had Salmon Platter as I always like it cooked medium and crispy on top the food was flavored and tasteful, i personally called it Greek heaven in a mouth. Very fresh and delicious both food and service was top notch! The the ambience bring you to Greece!
