What a nice, relaxing restaurant. The constant evolving small menu makes it interesting and the food & drinks are tasty . Friendly and attentive staff. The owner(s) take time to chat with the guests. Loved the whole experience . We had the pizza & Lamb meatloaf sandwich. Pizza crust was thin and slightly chewy (in a good way) & the bread to the sandwich was made of I believe the pizza dough? Very yummy. Owner mentioned they make their own dough/bread. Dessert was superb. And for someone who doesn’t usually drink alcohol, I finished the whole glass of their “Basil Haven”

I chose to go here with my hiking partner after walking around St Edwards Park for a couple hours. The service was absolutely pleasant and the food was top notch! We already planned a trip back in about a month.
Update: after a second visit to this wonderful restaurant the hostess remembered our faces and asked for our names (trying to commit them to memory I suppose), the notion made a great deal of difference in me feeling welcome as a guest. The menu has rotated but was fantastic as always.

The Guest House is an exceptional dining establishment, especially welcoming for large families with children. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated at a spacious table that comfortably accommodated our sizable group. The ambiance was cozy yet lively, perfect for both adults and kids.
Our server, Anthony, was outstanding. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive and friendly, making sure that everyone, especially the children, felt at ease. He provided coloring paper and crayons for the kids, a thoughtful touch that kept them entertained throughout our meal.
The menu offered a delightful array of options, but the highlight was undoubtedly their pizza. Each pizza boasted a perfect blend of crispy crust, rich tomato sauce, and a generous array of toppings that catered to both traditional and adventurous palates.
Throughout our meal, Anthony’s service was impeccable. He ensured our drinks were refilled promptly and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, all while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

I loved everything about this place. The environment is absolutely adorable and so comforting. The food was outstanding. Every single thing that we ordered was perfect. The bread with hummus was incredible, the pepperoni pizza was amazing, my salmon was fabulous, and our friends that ordered the burger and one of the sandwiches both love their meals as well.

Five star establishment in a 3 star location. The food was really well done and presented beautifully. The service was excellent. This is a wonderful place for date night or any adult outing. The lighting and energy of the place is clean, sleek and rustic at the same time. We tried the risotto, cavatappi, burger, steak frites, hearth bread, margarita, limeade mocktail, and 2 other cocktails. For dessert we had the mousse and the cookie. Everything was very tasty. The parking situation here is pretty horrible. We ended up parking across the street at a closed business. Overall we will be back.

What a great find! Found this little gem in Kenmore. Giving it 5 stars! Service was excellent, prices were really good, atmosphere was modern and quaint. Small menu but good choices. Only reason I didn’t give the food 5 stars is because the pizza was too salty. Definitely will come back.

The Guest House is a hidden gem in the Kenmore neighborhood! I have been there numerous times and the food and the service have always been superb. Tonight I had the halibut, and it was phenomenal. So light and refreshing . The amazing citrus pea sauce just screamed spring!

Amazing food. When I went in didnt expect to have such good food in the middle of nowhere (from the tourist’s view!! Not many options i had while staying at the lodge) Had mussels, chicken liver mouse, and cookie&icecream for the new year’s eve. Loved everything. Service was excellent.

Hopping local joint great for breakfast (mostly gluten containing items) lunch, and dinner (also brunch and linner). I’ve come here many times with my family to enjoy their unique local fare. Steaks have been delicious, as have the short ribs, polenta (seemingly a specialty of theirs!) Not to mention some deliciously wood fired gluten free (and regular) pizzas, including mushroom combos and sausage/pepperoni.
Also this place really knows what they’re up to with salmon- some of the crispiest skin I’ve had in a while, paired with some beluga lentils.

Came here for Sunday brunch and it was very busy. Ordered coffee, a bottle of champagne and donuts. The donuts came out quickly and were SO good! We also got the veggie polenta and salmon Benedict. I wish the menu clearly stated that the veggie polenta had sunny side eggs up so keep that in mind if you don’t like runny yolk. The main dishes took a little longer to come out but again the restaurant was busy so it was clear the kitchen was a little backed up. Overall a great experience and would be back if I’m ever in the area again!
