We were seated right away and our order of drinks came quickly. When we got our food I requested more tea. It came after I’d already finished 1/2 my food. We ordered an elk burger, bison burger & a regular burger. 2 of them were the ones with guacamole, onion & jalapeño strings & ghost pepper aoili. Burgers were cooked correctly. Buns seemed a bit stale. I ordered my ghost pepper aoili on the side and they charged me $.80. Keep in mind this already was a topping for the burger, not an add on. The fries were OK. They came warm but not hot. Coleslaw was sour tasting.

We sat on the patio and it had beautiful views. I was hesitant on this place based on other reviews, but man I was wrong. All of the food was amazing! Bloody Mary was perfect. I had the elk burger with Guac and Monterey Jack and it was delicious. My mom and boyfriend got the ribeye and it was great. We also got apps and I recommend the nachos, mozzarella sticks and the shrimp cigars. My moms steak was overcooked and the server was considerate and corrected the issue quickly. Will def be back next time I’m in Estes.

Try the Yak burger!! Definitely unique and compliments the rest of the burger very well! Service was average, but it was nice to be seated out back on the deck- away from the busy streets. The guacamole is fantastic too!

Estes Park is a unique town just outside of Rocky Mountain National Park. The Grubsteak Restaurant is right downtown Estes Park. We were there near the end of their off season so it was not busy. I can imagine it being very busy during their high season. They have a great deck in the back for eating and gathering outside. The food was good, and beer as well, but it wasn’t great, in my opinion. It is a great place to visit!

Very cozy place to grab a drink and some food while enjoying the shopping strip in Estes Park. Nice environment with a dated decor that totally fits the environment. The food was great. There were six of us everyone enjoyed what they had. It took a little while for the waiter to take our order, but once it was taken the food came out very quick. I’d definitely recommend this place and would come back again.

Wow. Amazing. The food was spectacular. The service may be very subpar, but the quality of the food really does wonders despite that. Awesome environment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Forgettable. Parts of our soft drink order were missing. Cocktails took 35 minutes. Waitresses attention to our table was sparse. One entree was not brought with the rest of the tables entrees. Waitress reasoned that someone took that burger to the wrong table. Waitress topped it all of by arguing at the end of our meal when we brought up our dissatisfaction, even going as far as calling one of our party rude. Manager adjusted our check and slightly made up for the disappointment.
