My first time visiting last night, and it didn’t disappoint. Great food quality and VERY friendly & attentive staff. Good menu variety for both food and drinks with fair pricing. The filet was cooked perfectly, the side salad was big, and the servers were amazing (which I greatlyappreciate). We had 2 8oz. filets at $40ea that came with salad & bread, along with a glass of wine & one draft beer, and we were definitely stuffed. $100 bill before tax & tip. A table next to us got the calamari app, and that looked great. Another table next to us added a Lobster tail to their filet, which also looked amazing, along with their desserts. Will be getting those on my next visit. Lol

My wife and I went here Friday night. First time since new ownership. Very impressed! Wonderful atmosphere, our server was terrific. And I had possibly one of the best ribeyes I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend!

Two starts because the hostess and waitress were nice. Made a reservation over two weeks ago, to come in on Valentine’s Day and find there’s no record of it, and to also hear someone else nearby had the same experience. Tried to give the benefit of the doubt it’s a busy day or course! Seated 40 minutes late, had to stand for 25 of those minutes with 15 being ignored. Finally got to the table to find out the redacted menu was even more redacted as they were out of prime rib, filet and others. Waited over an hour for hard bread, and unseasoned food. Asked for one steak well done, came out medium, sent it back to come back out medium well. $120 for two meals, one cocktail & a disappointing Valentine’s Day.

The Grove has an Elegant atmosphere, exceptional service, and top-quality seafood and steaks. Everything is expertly prepared and beautifully presented, with a strong wine and cocktail selection to match, attentive, professional service that makes you feel well taken care of without being overbearing. The quality of the food, service, and overall experience make it well worth it for special occasions or upscale dining.

Bad experience for Valentine’s Day. Service was very slow. Took an hour to get our meal. Prime Rib and mashed potatoes were served cold. Menu prices increased from the “special menu” posted earlier in the week. Train wreck all around. This used to be a wonderful experience. Won’t be back and we used to go there half a dozen times a year.

The food was outstanding! Truly one of the best steaks I’ve ever had in my life – the ribeye special was served hot, well-seasoned, perfectly cooked, and buttery melt-in-your-mouth texture. The shrimp and crab bisque, croquette, and Caesar salad were all really great too. I had a hard time deciding what to get for dessert because everything sounded incredible – went with the creme brûlée and it did not disappoint! Portion sizes for everything were generous – we both came home with leftovers. Quality, taste, beautiful presentation, and portion size were all on par for the prices and exceeded expectations. The owner was so great and really wonderful to talk to as well! There’s a lovely outdoor seating area when weather is nice, and the atmosphere inside is warm and cozy – everyone feels like a friend. Definitely make a reservation in advance and plan to enjoy a drink at the bar while you wait for your table because it gets packed. Our drinks (regular brandy old fashioneds) were $12 each and that felt a little pricey for what they were, but fine for a special night out. If you’re opposed to credit card fees, bring cash. Great find – a really special place. I can absolutely see why they have regulars!

Used to come all the time before the new ownership took over. Now dont even brother. My reservation was at 6pm and they open at 430pm and they were out of prime rib with a half filled restaurant? Service was poor and never told us about being out until we ordered. They give you 2 small pieces of bread in a basket for 2 $45 plate of food. Go elsewhere for dinner. Now I know why the restaurant was half empty. Such a shame.

This restaurant is a perfect GEM in North Greece, NY. The owner, and staff take excellent care of all of their patrons. The ambiance outside is perfection, with soft music, and a gorgeous display of flora, on a very lovely deck. It was like a true vacation. We ordered a lovely bottle of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc, and started off with oysters, so fresh, that I felt I was off the Northern Atlantic. We then ordered the Filet Mignon with Bacon, and whipped Yukon Gold Potatoes, and fresh summer vegetables, and the Mahi-Mahi over a bed of coconut jasmine rice, with a kiwi-avacado mango chutney. The Filet, while good, was just a tad dry (we ordered medium rare), but it was encrusted beautifully, with a sauce that was a savory delight. The bacon flavor was delicate, and didn’t overshadow the meat. I think the star of the night was the Mahi-Mahi. Originally the menu of the day featured it to be Swordfish, but I think the Mahi was a far better choice. It was seared wonderfully, and the chutney was outstanding. But what really was the stunner was the coconut infused jasmine rice. This was the piece that pulled this meal together. We were completely full after dinner, but lingered over the bottle of wine, as I think we didn’t want to leave. It felt we were on a vacation, but to a familiar place, and one which I would like to return.

Bernard’s Grove is an excellent local fine dining restaurant. The service is great and the staff are very personable.

The owners are hands on and very involved as well.

The food is awesome! We had yellow fin tuna, veal, and crab cakes. Every part of the meal was prepared to perfection. Then for dessert we had a peanut butter mousse. It was awesome!

I highly recommend going here for a nice evening out for any special occasion or just for a great dinner.
