Super cute little coffee spot! We’re staying at the smoke hole cabins. We wanted a light breakfast before exploring the Caverns and finding a local hiking trail. I had the breakfast burrito. Hubby had a bagel and chive cream cheese. He got a cold tea. I got a vanilla hot latte. Everything was great! We’ll have to stop back in tomorrow before we had back to Parkersburg. We look forward to coming back out here to do more exploring. When we’re in the area we’ll be back for sure!

We were spending sometime nearby at Harman’s Cabins for fly fishing and skiing at Timberland. I went shopping in town and came across this quaint coffee shop decorated outside and inside for Christmas season. It’s was so cute and loved the decor. I ordered the Cindy Lou iced coffee they had as a special and a blueberry scone. Their scones and the coffee were absolutely delicious! I went back the next day and tried the red velvet hot coffee special. I love this place and I will definitely be visiting again when we come back in the Spring.

We dined in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were greeted and assisted promptly! The two younger ladies behind the counter were very friendly and courteous! The summer drink specials were a great variety and full of flavor. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious. The atmosphere is clean and inviting. This is a great local café, and we’ll certainly be back!

The Grove is such a cute little cafe! Admittedly I wasn’t expecting to find such a gem in this small of a town. I went two days in a row here and wasn’t disappointed at all. Their seasonal drinks are as sweet as you can imagine based on the ingredients but nothing tasted painfully sweet. Their baked goods were delicious, the cream puff thing they have that’s in a bar style was my favorite.

There’s indoor/outdoor seating and plenty of parking around back.

I was in town for the first time doing some business and wanted to take some donuts or something to my business meeting. I didn’t really see anything in town that would work so I went to this coffee house and they had the most delightful scones and some other pastries that were delicious and some looked like a patisserie in Paris. My Americano was good. The pastries were better. I’m not a huge scone fan. I find them to be dry. These were not. I had an apple cinnamon and a cream puff that was a mess to eat in the car on way home but was delicious. The interior design is stunning. It’s very well done. I go in a lot of coffee shops in a lot of states and honestly this is as nicely appointed as any I’ve been in. You would have no idea you weren’t in a big city coffee shop if you were just standing inside. Parking stuff but it’s more because of the town’s weird roads and I guess the river. I had the circle a couple times but I found some parking to the left of the front of the establishment. The daughter was running the show she was very nice and I’m at the mother who had baked that mornings pastry selection

We were looking for a coffee shop in the area and luckily we found this. There was only one person working at the counter, so obviously it took a while to get our order, but the wait was worth it. Both the hot and iced lattes were exceptional, but the iced one was just out of this world.

My family and I come to WV multiple times a year and we finally were able to visit The Grove! I love coffee and the atmosphere these quaint shops bring, so I make it a point to visit coffee shops wherever I travel. This one did not disappoint! It was so good. The coffee and drinks my family got were so good. We definitely will return on our next visit!

If only… If only the latte was properly proportioned… If only the scone were actually a scone… The decor and seating are impeccable and they need to understand that one shot of espresso in 16 oz of milk is not a latte. And please, please refrain from using artificial blueberries as the cause indigestion in some of us.

Stopped here for breakfast on our way back from Big Bend Campground. Cute. Delicious. They had Bluey and Bingo Frappes with or without espresso. My 6 year old loved having a specialty drink of her own

The shop is super cute and sells local goods (maple syrup and honey) and the staff are super nice, but all the enjoyment I was getting was crushed when I saw an army recruitment business card and a business card calling for support of the genocidal state of Israel. You’d think after 2 years of Israel slaughtering Palestinians on video for the world to see, people would be less likely to support them.
