THE place in Felton for your breakfast, lunch or brunch. Everything is made fresh, cooked and served with passion for women excellence. The staff, all of them, is so nice, friendly and willing to make your experience ideal. Look for the specials of the day (sandwich or soup), there is always a great surprise or a delicious recipe you’d wish would stay on the every day menu.
A great atmosphere, and in sunny day, the backyard patio is the perfect retreat from the busy highway 9

Saw the word “bakery” and had to stop in for some treats. We love experiencing new places while on vacation and this did not disappoint! We picked out three items to go from the bakery selection, all delicious!

Maybe next stop will be to sit down inside and try items from menu.

Tasty! Stopped in with my son and I had a breakfast biscuit sandwich that was fantastic. I can’t remember the last time I had a great biscuit…and it definitely wasn’t in a sandwich which all seem to be english muffin or croissant.

My son was gonna opt for the french toast, but he said grilled cheese on sourdough just sounded better. He was happy. I was able to purchase a couple pounds of coffee beans as well which saved me a trip to the store.

Looking forward to going back and trying a few more things….but will do my best not to be tempted by the pastries they have at the counter.

Amazing coffee I had a cardamom latte. We also picked up some sardines in tins and had some pretty amazing baked goods. This place is a gem.

The Grove consistently has amazing food & drinks! It’s one of my favorite casual breakfast spots tucked away in the Santa Cruz Mountains just outside of town. They also do fun themed dinners every so often! I recently went to their plant based 5 course Shroomami themed dinner and every dish was incredible and it was super affordable for this type of service. I can’t not recommend this place more for locals & visitors from out of town!

Very cool place, great atmosphere, but overpriced and extremely slow and unfriendly service. $25 for a coffee and avocado toast to go. The toast took over 20 minutes to make (only one other person in the shop). And it was completely different than described on the board. It said, cucumber carrot and mint avocado toast. I got pickled onion and pumpkin seed toast, which I would not have ordered. I was not in a rush but did have to be somewhere. When asked about the toast, I got a sharp, “it’s only been 19 minutes“ response. I am local but don’t frequent the business because of prices and slow service.

The Grove is my favorite place to eat breakfast in Santa Cruz County!

I was just scrolling through the reviews and was shocked to see a few negative ones. I have had nothing but friendly, welcoming service and consistently delicious food. It is pricey like other reviews say, but the price reflects high quality, local, organic, fresh food. The owner has clearly put SO much intention into every aspect of the cafe and is setting the standard for how real, high quality food should be (in my opinion!). 5 stars all around. The gluten free bread is my favorite part. So good!

We came as a big party… One girl was exceptionally amazing here. Wish I caught her name (short hair and working in the kitchen)… Somehow the child’s avocados toast was not ordered and they were closing and everyone else got their food and she made sure to bring her food out regardless of if it was on them or us that it wasn’t ordered.. then for that hassle they gave us a couple freebie cookies to make our day a little less stressful.

The food was made with deliberate care… My potato leak soup was exquisite and so was my plate of breakfast with poached eggs, bacon, toast made in house. I’m normally super picky about breakfast because I feel like i can just make it myself for a tenth of the price, but here I just felt so happy to eat their organic, yummy fresh food.

Also, they served our hot coffee and hot matcha in cutesy mugs which I really appreciated

The breakfast sandwich has a homemade biscuit and your choice of bacon, sausage or avocado. I had mine with a bowl of soul (super tasty too). There’s a patio in the back, seating inside and seating in front. I definitely plan to return for more .

First time eating here. Overall very impressed by the food. We had the grilled cheese special, the biscuit sandwich, and the strawberry and beet salad. Very good flavors. And pleasantly surprised to find out that they do indeed have mimosas, was not expecting them to have any booze so, I can officially call it brunch!

Will definitely be back, and now I’m extra sad that I missed the French versus Italian community night dinner.
