We’ve stayed twice at the Parrot Key Resort where this restaurant is located near the main pool area. We have not been impressed with The Grove, mainly because it is extremely overpriced for what you get. You can go across the street to any restaurant in the plaza, or many other options across the whole island, and have a better meal for way less! The convenience of The Grove being on site is nice and we have taken advantage of that several times, but I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to go here. Additionally, as a guest at Parrot Key Resort, we are supposed to get a $25 per day credit at the Grove, which the bartender had no idea about and couldn’t tell us how it works. Plus, there is supposed to be half off drinks at happy hour – same bartender charged us full price. The front end isn’t talking to the restaurant staff about the specials that guests get and THAT was very frustrating! After learning that it was going to be a hassle to get the deals we were promised while booking, I stopped spending my money at The Grove. All that being said, the drinks are really yummy and it’s nice when they can provide poolside service of drinks (seems to be pending staffing), but again, very overpriced!

Disgusting behavior by the manager of The Grove restaurant on February 10.
On the afternoon of February 9, we brought our freshly caught fish to the restaurant to be cooked for lunch the next day. The staff told us it was possible. The next morning, we confirmed that we wanted the fish fried.
When we arrived for lunch, the manager said it was not possible because they do not clean fish at the restaurant and that we had to do it ourselves. We were disappointed, so we ordered something else.
Five minutes later, the waiter brought us beautifully fried fish and served it to us. We started eating, but three minutes later the manager ran to our table and took both plates away from us right in front of our mouths, saying it was not our fish
There was no explanation and no apology — only an angry face
When I asked for an explanation, she said they made a mistake and cooked another customer’s fish.
They threw the fish away and told us they would not serve our fish at all.
So don’t go there if you expect anything other than burgers.

Great hotel, and accessible to the disabled – we neither sleep well nor eat well, the restaurant was well placed with four swimming pools.
Especially the famous waitress Kate who was very kind and very beautiful. If you go to Florida I recommend this heavenly hotel
