We recently moved into a home nearby and this place has quickly become our favorite place to go for a meal and a drink.
If you’re not going to The Grove for wings and pickle fries, what are you even doing with your life?
The wings. Crispy. Saucy. Flavor-packed. The kind of wings that make you pause mid-bite and just nod at the table like, “Yeah… these are it.”
And then there are the pickle fries. If you’ve never had hand-breaded dill pickle fries dipped in their version of ranch dressing, you haven’t fully unlocked happiness yet. Crunchy, tangy, salty perfection. I would order them as a meal and feel zero shame about it.
The service. The staff is friendly, fast, and actually seems happy you’re there. Drinks stayed full, food came out hot, and we were treated like a regular, even though it was our first visit.
It’s the kind of neighborhood spot where you come for “just one drink” and somehow it’s three hours later and you’re planning your next visit.
Great wings. Legendary pickle fries. Top-tier service. I would absolutely wreck a plate of food here again.

I’ve been a loyal customer at this restaurant for over a year and have always been very happy with the food. However, over the past few visits, the quality has been inconsistent.
On one occasion, the wings — normally juicy and generously sauced — arrived extremely dry. We also ordered a steak sub, which has always come with fries, but this time it arrived without them. When we called to ask, we were told they no longer offer steak subs, which was confusing since we had ordered them many times before.
Wanting to give the restaurant another chance, we placed another order a few days later. This time everything was excellent: the shrimp was great, the wings were saucy as usual, and the subs were prepared correctly. We assumed whatever issues were happening had been resolved.
Unfortunately, our most recent order was disappointing again. The wings were dry with almost no sauce, and overall the food didn’t meet the standard we had come to expect.
It’s frustrating because we’ve consistently enjoyed this restaurant for so long, and these issues have only started recently. I’m not sure if there has been a change in staff or something else going on behind the scenes, but I truly hope the quality returns to what it used to be. I’d love to continue supporting this place, but it’s becoming difficult to keep taking the chance of being disappointed.

Having just moved to the area, we’ve been looking for new places to try. We’ve heard great things about The Grove. I wasn’t impressed with the people that were working here- not very friendly. We seemed to be a bother that we wanted to order food. Of course we came on a Sunday early evening since we had our 13yr old with us and it wasn’t very busy at all, but there is lots of space. Seems they do a lot of take out, several people stopped in while we were there. But since it was highly recommended, we will give it another try. The food was good. Fresh cut fries were fabulous.

Excellent wings every time. Steak salad and steak salad were really good. Friendly service and great food. It is definitely worth the time checking this place out. We have had their wings at the Cambria County Fair the last couple years, so we decided to make the drive to go eat at their place and we were impressed.

Whenever I drive by/through lil Belsano, between Ebensburg and Indiana I stop at The Grove for the best wings in Cambria county, the wings maintained a great cook even after a 20 min ride back to Indiana. By far one of the best hot sauces I’ve ever had! Perfect mix of fire and flavor!

Food was fine. Bar was not a great place to eat. Tons of flies with a window open at the back of the bar with an extension cord through it for some reason to let them in… Probably won’t be back. Trying to eat food while constantly chasing flies away from it is not my idea of a pleasant meal…

I’ve been looking forward to going here for months to try their seafood boils. The boil itself was plentiful with crab legs and shrimp. The sausage was completely burnt to a crisp. Couldn’t even eat it. We ordered our food around 6:30pm and started noticing people all around us who not only came in but ordered way after us receiving their food before us. We didn’t end up getting our food until 8:30pm. The service was terrible. The one waitress actually told us to go up to the bar and get our own beer because she was busy. We were there for 2 hours waiting for our food and got checked on twice. The atmosphere is dirty and dingy. The bathrooms are disgusting. Then a DJ came in and set up directly behind our table and turned disco lights on directly in our faces when we were still eating as two of us in our group didn’t get food until around 9pm. We had to ask the waitress to turn them off at least until we finished eating. Very poor experience overall and I definitely won’t go back. Sad because I grew up literally 2 miles up the road. My mother worked there when I was a kid. This was probably one of the 1st bars I went too when I turned 21. We knew the old owner who passed away a few years ago. This place needs a serious overhaul and hire more staff if your having big crowds with selling boils to keep customers happy. There were a lot of people complaining and yelling at the waitresses and it truly isn’t their fault for the place being mismanaged. We jokingly said it would be interesting to see Bar Rescue come in there and see what he would say.

Don’t turn your back while playing the games. Someone will rip you off. Owners did nothing wouldn’t look at cameras . Will never go back

Nice place. Food was good and prices were reasonable. Not the cleanest of places, but it is a bar after all. Wings were exceptional. We will be returning in the future.
