What a cool place this is. The large amount of retro knickknacks and the rest of the place’s style really gives the Groovin’ Grove a unique atmosphere I cannot recommend enough. I enjoyed several cocktails while listening to their live music, and both the drinks and service were great. I’m definitely recommending this place to my family and friends. It’s like a cool little hangout spot off the beaten trail, and it’s worth the effort to travel to. I’ll definitely be back.

What an INCREDIBLE Jewel in the middle of VanBuren County!! Fantastic Retro vibe complete with working LightBrite games and Mr & Mrs Potatoe Head!! Sing-a-long with all your favorites from bygone days at our local beaches! And if you’re chilly, grab an afghan that looks like it’s right off your Grandma’s couch! Plenty of incredible grand old drinks! And the food is GREAT! Pretzels with pub cheese are not to be missed! Margarita pizza was fantastic!! DO NOT miss this FUN & ECLECTIC place!!

Love this place – great lineup of live music in comfortable surroundings, with friendly and attentive staff. The burgers are excellent, and everything else I’ve tried has also been really good! N.B. The sign indicates it will closed through 1/30/2026. Looking forward to getting back into my favorite spot in town.

What a cool atmosphere, we happen to go there when they had a live guitar player who was amazing. They had so many cool vintage items on display. Great food and drinks.

Great place to see a Brian McClure show. We travel to see his shows as often as we can. Very nicely decorated — we loved the Greek owls in our corner . Friendly staff, decent food, excellent drinks. The chunky monkey drink was by far the best .

We were looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat on a Saturday night. We were so glad we drove over from downtown and gave this place a try! First time and we will definitely be back next time we are in the area! Friendly service with a warm greeting and smiles when we came in. Prompt service and our waitress was so nice and tentative to our young son. She made sure his corndogs came out first and was the perfect temperature so he could dig right in! Our appetizers (mushrooms and cheese curds) were so good! Not overly greasy or having the too deep fried taste. We both got the special which was a smoked burger with waffle fries and it was so good! Such good flavor! The prices were good as well. The (assumed)owner stopped by and said hello and even as exiting we were greeted with nice salutations! The small mom and pop type feel truly was a great experience! We highly recommend!

We had a great time – live music, delicious food and the best Lavender Lemonade I have ever had. Even came with a sprig of Lavender in it! When arriving, it is a little intimidating as there are no windows and it’s very “closed” looking. But the inside is absolutely incredible! When we arrived, there was no seating, but the owner went above and beyond and got seats from the back for us with a small table so we could stay and enjoy the music and drinks. It was packed and she didn’t have to do that, but we really appreciated it. We are so excited that this is here and are looking forward to making this a regular spot for date night. Note: 21 and up only. (We have kids but appreciated the atmosphere and noise level that wouldn’t be achieved if there were kids.)
