Iffy on a return. Go in yesterday morning, this place is a bit pricey. In the suburbs; but still. Got an order of wings, regular fries & non alcoholic drink. Still came up to $30 with the extra dollar to charge a debit instead of cash. That’s a bit much. $16 for only NINE (9) wings, $7.50 just for fries then a lemonade. I don’t necessarily want to spend $30 on a small meal so the food and service was fantastic, would I go back again to spend that kind of money? Idk

Not the Irish Bar I had imagined, the Grog does have loyal patrons. I saw many retirees greeted by name by their friendly staff. The food however, leaves something to be desired. The chicken tenders I ordered for $16 were just large chicken nuggets, which seemed as if they were precooked. I found the beer menu limited, as well. I would prefer more Irish, British, and European beers in the mix.

Great Gastro Pub…
Went after catching a movie at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute and grabbed a meal.
The service was great, and the food was a huge portion and delicious.
They have a lot of cool drink specials and wide selection.

We ordered the wings (mild) and the lamb lollipops. Both were good. Lamb was cooked very well. Wing sauce was eeh typical . Nothing special. Wings were crunchy / not breaded. Their hot sauce is a Louisiana hot sauce brand. Server lady was amazing. Overall it wasn’t a bad lunch.

Food and service were both solid. We had to flick away 3 or 4 ants over the 90 minutes we were there (or maybe one very determined one) but outside of that we had a nice time with good food and drinks. Definitely will be back. Great option when visiting Bryn Mawr for a show at the Film Institute.

Stumbled upon this cute pub.. gives me the Cheers vibe. The food was decent Irish pub fare. The lamb lollipops were amazing!!!!Bangers and mash good not great .. gravy was not Guinness beer gravy as it stated on menu. The drinks made up for it. They were strong but good, a hard balance. The waitress/ barmaid was super friendly and a great waitress. I’ll be back here!

I ordered Grog burger which comes with fries. Very good burger and fries was so crispy, Its my favorite bar I try this bar at least once a week for 6 months and so far it is very good.
