Cool spot for breakfast or lunch. And I guess coffee.

I don’t drink coffee, but my friend Bod does. I stayed in Bluefield and he lives in Princeton, but he met me here since it was on my way to Cherokee. This leg of the trip was to drop off some cash for Mr. Bob. A lot of it. No, not that kind of money. Clean money. Anyway…

The staff here is super friendly, the atmosphere fits the area, and the place has some charm. It looks like the prices for the sandwiches are very fair, but I got a bagel, and the price for one bagel is too high. However, this is more of a sandwich and coffee shop; it’s not a bagel store.

I definitely recommend The Grind. I’m not really a morning person so I don’t know what Bob was talking about half the time, but that’s just me.

Definitely recommended!

Got a Cookie Butter latte and It was amazing!! They did not skimp out on the Biscoff, they put the crumbles on top and tons of drizzle! It was not crazy sweet which I love. The staff was also very kind! Will definitely come back if i’m ever back in this cute town.

This is a beautiful coffee shop in Wytheville. The coffee is outstanding. It was perfect for a drive.

The chocolate frappe tasted more like coffee rather than chocolate. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the whipped cream. Usually whipped cream from a store or other shops melts immediately, but this one stayed firm for a long time!

Definitely recommend this place if you’re around the area!

After driving for 10 hours today, I stopped at The Grind Coffee Shop and was lucky enough to be helped by Misty — hands down one of the best baristas I’ve ever met. She didn’t just take my order; she guided me through the best way to order my chicken salad sandwich (which was spot-on) and made my coffee perfectly. You could tell she genuinely cared about getting it right.

It’s rare these days to find someone who makes you feel welcomed, seen, and looked after — especially after a long day on the road. Misty turned what could’ve been just another coffee stop into the highlight of my day. If you’re anywhere near here, do yourself a favor and stop in. Great people, great coffee, great service.

When we stepped inside and saw the giant screens to order our food and coffee from we were incredibly impressed & thought this must be a chain of some sort.. come to find out we are wrong and it’s a locally owned coffee shop! We were visiting from out of state (NC) and we have never experienced anything like this before! I was so impressed! The drinks were exactly as ordered and the taste was DELICIOUS! The only problem with this place is that they don’t exist in Raleigh.. Highly recommend! 5 stars!

I came from South Carolina to visit family and they brought me to this coffee shop. I had the 16 hr brewed iced coffee with brown sugar cinnamon flavor, made with half and half and topped with brown sugar cinnamon cold foam. It was SO good! It’s nice and clean inside, good music, and good vibes. Definitely going again when in the area!

Low quality coffee and food for high quality prices. We were honestly super disappointed with sandwiches (way over $10) that tasted like the meat was way too old and well if you like coffee that tastes like nothing but creamer than this place is definitely for you. Took photos of my cold brew ($6) and my husbands coffee with 1 part cream. Nobody talks to you while you’re there, you just order off a screen.

I’m passing through on I77 and wanted coffee and a donut. I stopped at “Dunkin” and quickly realized it wasn’t a real one. I looked for a new place to grab something and saw The Grind. The ordering was easy with a kiosk and coffee (cold brew) came out in a minute. It is absolutely delicious and smooth. The hot honey burrito was huge and very tasty. I went about 5 minutes out of my way and it was well worth it! I was in and out in under 5 minutes!

Great little coffee shop on Main. Found this gem when traveling to Florida. Misty was so efficient and friendly. Chai tea and breakfast spinach and egg delish.

We stopped in on a trip and this shop was PERFECT. The coffee? Amazing. The food? Brilliant. It was exactly what we needed. We went back and ordered extra biscuits. They were so good.
