This place is now called Mangrove Sands. It is part of the golf clubhouse
It appears that they will be updating a lot of the facilities. We stopped for beverages only. There’s a lot of Tvs for sports and live music on the weekends. They have a full bar with limited draft beers. The bar is right on the golf course.

The only disadvantage was being asked if we would be done in another 10 minutes because they had a reservation that apparently wanted the high top table next to the window that we were seated at. I kinda wanted another drink, but we left.

This is not Called the grill on the green anymore- for a long time. But the restaurant/bar has been completely redone. It is happy and bright. Soooo. I’m not sure how to tackle this review. Same place different. I think it is just Vista Vero (or it should be ).

They have since renovated. Much nicer! Didn’t try the food, but impressed with the new atmosphere and will definitely be going back.

Haven’t been there in a long time. On a whim took my wife there for happy hour. We had a great time. Meet some people who were extremely nice. Bartender was great as were the prices of the drinks. Highly recommend and plan on going back in the very near future.

Terrible! The General Manager is grossly obnoxious!! Speaking so LOUD ( loves the sound of his own voice) using inappropriate language, speaking about money (lack there of) regarding the golf course and clubhouse and employee wages. Employees sitting at the bar chat’n up with their GM when CLEARLY there are things that need attending too (ie; dirty floors, everything is dusty, holes in the wall). The current GM appears to be lacking experience within the restaurant business. Whoever owns this place (John Henderson?)might want to pay closer attention. Will never go back and will never recommend.

So let me start by saying we are in Florida on vacation. We did a Google search for restaurants near us, up came this restaurant called the grille on the Greene. A charming little restaurant located on a golf course. The bartender Melissa was very nice and only her second day working. We placed an order for a couple apps and 2 Philly cheesesteaks. The time was around 545, after a couple minutes the cook came from the kitchen and said to us my boss told me we are closing at 6 so I don’t have time to make your sandwiches but I can still make your apps or I can make you a blt or tuna fish sandwich. We told the cook we would pass and just stick with the appetizers and a drink. At that point the manager started arguing with a prior employee at the end of the bar, a young woman who was also named Melissa at this time was a drunk customer! Instead of defusing the situation he continued to argue with her and belittle her in the middle of the restaurant. Telling her if she wants to act like a man he will treat her like one and kept offering for her to hit him in the chin. To say it was uncomfortable would be an understatement, at that point my husband started to get irritated and says if he lays a hand on that girl that he will kick the managers a**! So to avoid anymore problems we asked for our check and left. Save this place for the locals. P.S. not to mention I was suppose to get French frys and they couldn’t supply me with that either. And my mozz sticks had no cheese in them they were just empty shells.

I don’t know where to start. This place used to be fun, with reasonable prices for drinks and decent bar food and sometimes even good entertainment. A recent management change has totally destroyed the place. Food is terrible when and if it is served at all. They schedule entertainment and then cancel it at the last minute so you never really know if there will be any. I won’t be back unless I hear they’ve changed management again. Too bad.

The owners are currently offering a limited menu, but can put together whatever you might like if you are bringing a group.
A “Friends” kind of bar anchors the service area, and the many tables assure instant seating. Live music and Karaoke nights happen during the week and weekend.
It’s our go-to for casual dining. Ask about specials which may not appear on the menu! My favorite is the barbecue burger…
