My husband and I used to be regulars at the Grille on Congress. We had a few very busy years, but we never forgot the restaurant or the great food. The restaurant has been updated with an upscale and calming decor. Everything we ordered was delicious! My husband had the ribs, and I had Yellowtail Snapper. My fish was outstanding, and perfectly seasoned. It was served with a bed of tasty rice, and a lemon butter sauce. My husband at his entire plate full of ribs! The service was perfect, and our waitress was delightful. We will be back!

One of the only places in Boca you can grab a last minute res. Best Diet Coke in town. Can’t beat the delish fresh biscuits. My preference is lunch for a soup and salad but it’s a great little spot that’s been here forever under the same owners who are great. Ask for Hannah for phenomenal service.

This place is fantastic! Many options on the menu and everything we tried was fresh and flavourful. The Swordfish Piccata is absolutely delicious!!! The food quality really stands out, and the service was just as impressive — friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. Alex was awesome! Overall, it’s a great spot for anyone looking for excellent food, great service, and a relaxed, enjoyable dining experience!

I’m originally from this area but had never visited this restaurant until I was in town for business. Based on the positive reviews, I decided to give it a try despite my initial reservations about the dated atmosphere.
Upon entering, my first impression was that it resembled a run-down Bob Evans – worn tables and chairs, minimal decor, and an elderly crowd. However, we decided to stay based on the reviews we’d read online.
Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there.
The appetizer we ordered tasted off, so we returned it – something I rarely do, but it was cheese and spinach dip.I asked if there was blue cheese in it, they said no and said the server said he believed the batch of it made had rotten cheese today, stating it came made all together daily and it smells off today.
I then ordered a pasta dish specifically without chicken. It arrived with chicken throughout, which was problematic as I don’t eat chicken. When our server finally returned to the table after a long delay, I mentioned the error. His solution was to have the kitchen “pick it all out” for me.
Since that’s what they were going to do anyway, I picked out the chicken myself – which made up nearly half the dish.
I attempted to speak with a manager but was told she wasn’t available. Two hours later, I called back to discuss the situation (as I had ordered DoorDash since I couldn’t finish my meal and wasn’t offered an alternative). I was again told the owner wasn’t available and was questioned about why I was calling. When I explained I wanted to provide feedback about customer service issues, I was simply told she wouldn’t come to the phone, she was in and out and it was late and she was doing other things
We spent over $100 on two house wines and food that neither of us ate. We received no resolution, no manager interaction, and no attempt to make things right.
Between the subpar food quality, poor service, unwelcoming atmosphere (no pictures, no decor, worn furniture), and dismissive staff, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
I ate McDonald’s from the hotel room and I was more impressed .

Just went there for the first time. Ordered 2x lunch menu ribeye steak for $28 but the bill showed $56 dinner prices even though the website showed lunch menu. The manager plays stupid and blame the website and inflation. She don’t even offer free dessert or anything. I will not be going back or making recommendations to my medical colleagues. Food was good but the manager response was disappointing

Monday night vibes at The Grille on Congress – who knew?!
We walked in on a pretty packed Monday evening (kudos to you, folks, for bringing the energy!), and our server Matt welcomed us with a smile that could light up the whole restaurant! He was professional, attentive, and had a wicked sense of humor – I mean, who else could make jokes about the weather and get us laughing? Thanks to Matt, our evening was elevated to 4-star status (he deserves a raise, just saying!).
Now, onto the grub: my friends raved about the Veal and fish specials (I’m guessing they were delicious, since they were devoured in record time), but my MAPLE LEAF DUCK WITH VALENCIA ORANGE SAUCE… well, let’s just say it was a bit of a quack-y situation. The duck was crispy, but unfortunately, it was also extremely dry – not quite the culinary masterpiece I was expecting.
All in all, The Grille on Congress has got some great energy, and with Matt at the helm, you’re in for a fantastic time! Just maybe stick to the specials, or ask Matt for his expert recommendations. Keep shining, Matt – you’re the real MVP!
