The food was soooo good! Their salsa is probably the best in Idaho Falls! Their tacos and burgers are great as well.

We went there for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The place was quite busy, but we were seated within five minutes. The staff promptly cleaned our table after another party left—though it was still a bit damp at first, the server quickly took care of it when we pointed it out.

Service was attentive, and the bartender was helpful in guiding us through the menu. The food was just okay overall—both my wife and I found our dishes a bit bland. However, she did enjoy the French toast, and our five-year-old loved the mac and cheese.

Overall, it was a decent experience, but not one that would make us hurry back anytime soon

My Mom loved this place. It was her favorite place to eat whenever she made her monthly Costco run. She always wanted me to try it, but we never ended up in IF/Ammon together at the right time to go before she tragically passed away from cancer.

I don’t make it up there very often, so the first time I was in the area when they were open I jumped at the chance to go. I ordered one of her favorite sandwiches, the Triple-Decker Club with the homemade french fries, and it did not disappoint. Everything about the sandwich was perfect, from the bread, meat, tomatoes, etc. and in perfect proportion. The homemade fries were amazing, cooked till the inside was soft and the outside was crispy but not overdone like so many restaurants do.

I know why Mom said this was her favorite place, and I’ll definitely be back.

Walked in to see the waiter eating behind the register, then wipe his hands on his pants when he came to bring me a menu. He took a few more bites behind the register & didn’t bother to wash his hands (that I could see) before he brought my food.

He was attentive and the service was quick.

Food wasn’t bad – the hash browns were a bit bland.

The salt & pepper shakers looked like they hadn’t been washed or wiped in a while and someone was sweeping close to the kitchen while someone else was cooking. I realize people need to clean but stirring up floor dust by the kitchen or where people are eating is not good.

Good music, good atmosphere. The place looked clean other than the shakers. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked.

Prices were great.

Really tasty breakfast option where they’re not afraid to spice things up a bit! Cozy, yet busy, friendly diner vibe, fast, efficient, friendly service. First breakfast in the Falls where Cholula wasn’t required for kick! Big portions, great start to your day!

No frills good food. One of the few breakfast options in town that isn’t soaked in oil. We tried the breakfast burrito with home fries, the veggie scramble with home fries and biscuits and gravy. Really enjoyed the home fries (which have bell pepper and onions and didn’t feel like a plate filler or afterthought). The biscuit was really light and fluffy (though a little too much gravy for my taste). The burrito sauce had good smoky flavor. The eggs in the veggie scramble were a little over-cooked. In general, food would be improved by a liberal use of herbs. Staff was really nice and attentive. We will eat here again.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 – 5 Car Pile Up with hash browns was good. Most of the flavor came from the gravy with the potatoes fairly bland and the country fried steak fairly salty. The egg was already popped when it arrived at our table 🙁

Idaho Omelette with hash browns and French Toast was tasty with some sweet from the toast and salty from the gravy. The country gravy is absolutely delicious! The hash brown only has a light cook so it’s not crispy and not very seasoned so you can adjust to your liking.

Ambience: 5/5 – clean with a bright feeling overall

Service: 5/5 – quick and efficient while staying friendly. She checked on us throughout the meal

Value for price: 5/5 – great food, quick service, reasonable price. Love it!

Looking for something new I tried the Grille for breakfast. It was ok, portion was good. Add a cinnamon roll that I can highly recommend. Ordered to go and the setup with counter in back of a crowded restaurant is a poor choice.

The Grille is one of the smaller breakfast joints in town, but it has that down-home family feel, which you may appreciate. You get good value for your money in terms of the quantity of the food and there are some small little things like the homemade raspberry jam that makes it stand out from the crowd. Their coffee is tolerable, so I would focus on the food rather than relying on a hot cup of joe.

They have good omelettes, scrambles, and biscuits and gravy. Most of the portions are so large they would be easy to share or you can take half of it home for a later meal.

It’s a bit intimate and it might be more difficult to accomodate large parties over six or eight on a busy morning. The waitstaff is usually friendly and cheerful and make eating there more enjoyable as a result.

Got the Idaho omelette and a Denver omelette. Food was pretty good. Unfortunately when I went to use the ketchup it was stored upside down. Well, when ketchup heats up and you open it from the bottom the bottle is slightly pressurized and explodes all over you. Not a huge deal but just a little inconvenient.
