Great food and super fast service 1245p on a Thursday. Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and corn. Special included salad and cake warm from the oven.

We stayed in Ingleside because we needed a reasonably priced hotel for our last minute coastal vacation. We didn’t want to eat the continental breakfast on our last day, so we went here.
This is a quaint little place with WONDERFUL breakfast. One of my boys had blueberry pancakes, and the other had chocolate chip, both short stacks of 2. They were huge pancakes, so they each only ate about half. They enjoyed the eggs, bacon, and ham, too.
My husband had the French toast special and said it was phenomenal. The eggs were slightly overlooked, but my kids’ were fine, and so was my omelette.
I had the western omelette, and it was the best omelette I think I’ve ever had. I’m gluten intolerant, so I’ve eaten a lot of omelettes when we go out for breakfast. The hash browns were great, too.

Service was great. Sam was our waiter, she was very friendly. It took a while to get our food but it was good.
I would give 5 star but our table was a little nasty when we sat down. I had to clean it with a babt wipe. Other than the messy table, it was great. We will return.

Breakfast was really good. There Chicken Fried Steak was the best I ever had. We are from California so this was far superior to anything we get. Prices are every reasonable. Great friendly service.

Good lunch spot in Ingleside. The burgers are are good. I had the bacon avocado burger and it was tasty. I prefer my burgers a little less done, that’s why I only gave a 4 star.

Has this place changed! Staff and food was always good but WOW has the service changed…. they are quick and you never see the bottom of your coffee cup. Got here at 935 and already leaving….we will be back!

I usually don’t like to rate people or places but since you asked the food was so so and the service was not good. Never was visited by my waitress after getting served. Still left a tip but really didn’t want to.

Food and customer service is awesome here. I’ve ate breakfast and lunch here and have never left dissatisfied with the food or service. Very reasonably priced and perfect portion sizes.
