We chose the standard AYCE option, which had everything we needed and more. Worth every penny. I love how thinly the meats were sliced and how every cut was fresh and clean. And the portion sizes made me so happy. So happy. Also, the sides and the sauces were beyond delicious. Frankly, the sauce options alone revealed to me that this restaurant really cares about Korean food.
The service was also top-notch. Super polite and super attentive. We had our grill changed multiple times, and our sides were restocked as soon as they were emptied. Also: FREE RICE REFILLS.
Overall, this is the BEST AYCE KBBQ I’ve ever been to, and I’m looking forward to more belly-filling nights at the Grill King. Keep up the good work!
The $39 will probably be around $50.
I tried this place out last night since my friend live up north. Otherwise, I’ll recommend going Federal Way. Slightly cheaper, better food, still AYCE, just more variety.
At least the server with red hair was cute tho, pretty friendly too.
On top of that, we were rushed the entire time. The staff made it very clear they wanted us to finish quickly and leave because there were people waiting. That is not the customer’s problem. We were trying to enjoy our meal, but we were pressured nonstop. The grill heat was turned up to the maximum (level 5), causing the meat to burn, yet they still rushed us.
They kept coming to our table with the check, hesitating and walking back and forth in the middle of us eating, which felt like a clear message of “hurry up and get out.” It made the whole experience stressful and unpleasant.
The place itself is very small with poor ventilation, which made it even more uncomfortable. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and treatment ruined what should have been an enjoyable meal. I would not recommend this place.
The dining experience here was “good enough.” For two people, our bill came out to $75 — that includes a mandatory 18% tip added before we even sat down. We went with the standard dinner selection: unseasoned pork belly, beef brisket, marinated beef, and spicy pork. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done.
Can’t really complain — you’re cooking frozen, raw meat at your table, so expectations should be realistic.
What really stood out was the service. There was just one Korean gentleman running the floor, and he was on point the entire time. Super attentive and friendly — definitely made the experience better.
All in all, it’s a solid spot. If you’re craving Korean BBQ without too many frills, grab a seat — your money’s not wasted here.
Thanks!
